GREAT Nice quality gift...
I bought this spiralizer as a gift & the recipient absolutely loves it! I knew she'd been eyeing similar ones at work so I decided to try Amazon. To be honest, they all kinda look alike online so I focused on # of blades offered & price. On my very last search, I came across this one. I hesitated at first because it was MUCH cheaper than all the other manual countertop spiralizers & had NO reviews at the time. However, I have another kitchen item by U.S. Kitchen Supply that's worked well; plus the company offers a lifetime guarantee! I couldn't pass up getting a 5 blade countertop spiralizer that came with its own "catch container" for under $10!The product arrived with a squished box as Amazon shipped it by slapping a label directly to the product box. Thankfully, the spiralizer wasn't damaged. While I didn't actually run any veggies thru it, I lookd at all the parts, secured the spiralizer to the counter w/ the suction cups, & inserted the blades. Everything seemed to be good quality ( better than I expected.) The suction cups firmly held it in place & the blades were day to insert/remove. The only thing I personally thought would've been nice is to have onboard storage for the 5 blades. Not a big deal as the blades can be stored in the container, but just an observation. This far, my friend has made zucchini ribbons & noodles, as well as cucumber spirals. Her kiddo spiralized an apple. All have worked well & she's looking forward to spiralizing any veggies she comes across.I wouldn't hesitate to buy this spiralizer again as a gift, or better yet, for myself ;)Please give a "click" if reading this review helped with your purchase decision. Amazing product
I was amazed at how well this works. I was not sure how often I would use a spiralizer so I did not want to spend a lot of money on one. I have one of the original hand held ones that cost me more than this one but its only good for zucchini or yellow squash and doesn't really do a very good job on them. I really wanted to try spiralized sweet potatoes and beets so I figured for the price I would give this one a try. If it didn't work, at least I wouldn't be out much. Well I had two large sweet potatoes and I figured I would start with them. Granted it took me a minute or two to get the first one centered correctly between the holder and the blade but once I figured that out it went thru those sweet potatoes like butter. I used all four blades just so I could see the difference in the sizes and they all worked well and were very easy to insert and remove. Cleanup was a breeze and everything stores in the catch tray so it takes up very little room in my cabinet. Every now and then you come across a really good deal and this sure qualifies. I am very happy with this purchase.

Silicone pot holders..
Absolutely love it! Last time I used the hand held version of a spiralizer was the last time I intended to use it. aching wrists, elbows, neck & shoulders (I have PMR)! This little unit is great & so versatile. Just finished a cucumber that I pealed but left the ends on for a better grab, seeded, made a slit half way through (wanted slices), & put it through the ribbon cut blade... waalah! Perfect slices for a vinegar, onion & cucumber salad.HINT #1: My counter isn't smooth for the suction, so I use silicone hot pads to stabilize the unit & catching container. Works like a charm!HINT#2: Mentioned in another review, but I repeat because it's very helpful: After 3-4 turns when making noodles, cut the strand to avoid yard-long noodles... EZ PZ! Enjoy!

Works Really Well So Far!
I bought this to replace on that is over 3 years old and the handle is breaking. Could not afford that one again right now so decided to give this a shot based on the reviews. I am extremely pleased with it. I love the tray! Very easy to use and does not require much pressure. I am not sure how well it will work with sweet potatoes but with cucumbers and squash it was great. I only gave 4 stars for 2 reasons: I have severe arthritis in my hands and I found it very difficult to get the blade into the slot. I also wish the tray hooked onto the spiralizer somehow because it scoots and you end up with a mess between the tray and spiralizer. Something I can easily deal with. Anyway considering it was less than 10 bux, I am thrilled with it. It may not be a "temporary" replacement.

Great for the price!
Great spiralizer for the price! I very rarely review items but this didn't have any when I purchased so I wanted to make sure others know this is a good product. I looked at many other brands that were triple this price but decided to take a risk on this and am so glad I did.The smaller blade makes the perfect spaghetti size noodle which is exactly what I wanted. I have one of the hour glass shape single zoodlers but the size and texture of the noodles never compared to spaghetti. Plus I can crank out a plate of zoodles in seconds! The blades are easy to switch out and wash which other brands had poor reviews about. The auction cups on the bottom lock nicely on my laminate countertops. Everything stores nicely when not in use. My only complaint would be that the crank doesn't get all the way to the end so you'll be left with about an inch of vegetable that doesn't get used up but I just consider that an appetizer and not worth taking away a star.So far I've only tried zucchini and yellow squash but will update when I try sweet potato.

U.S. Kitchen Supply Spiral Master EZ Spiralizer
Initially I had difficult time using it but eventually I was able to make beautiful zucchini & carrot noodles. In future I will use to spiralize cucumber & parsnips, turnips, rutabaga etc You can use this to make salad, just add some cherry tomatoes & sliced red onion to zucchini, cucumber & carrot noodles ( you may or may not use salad dressing ) U.S. Kitchen Spiralizer is economical & allows you to eat more colorful veggies for a healthy lifestyle.
