J'ai utilisé ce ruban pour étanchéifier la sous-toiture du petit poulailler, avant de poser la toiture. Ça fonctionne bien !Je vais m'en servir pour étanchéifier les bordures intérieures des fenêtres de ma maison.

This was bought to repair a split in 2 of my water butts in my garden. I noticed the floor was getting wet for no reason so I drained the butts and found both had a split in the same place. Obviously a manufacturing defect that had given way. I cleaned and dried the area inside and out ready to apply this tape. The tape is very easy to cut and sticks really well. Plenty of grab as soon as it makes contact with the material you're applying it to. The water butts are now holding water again and hopefully should stop the split from opening up again.

Das Dichtungsband kam zur Anwendung, um gebrochene Lötnähte zwischen den Zinkblechen auf dem Garagendach zu reparieren (siehe Foto). Die schadhaften Naht-Stellen und das Zinkblech sind erst in der Breite des Bandes zu reinigen mit Waschbenzin. Dann das Band auf die gewünschte Länge zuschneiden. Anschließend die grau-schwarze Abdeckfolie abziehen und das Band wie ein Pflaster mittig auf die Naht legen, so dass der Bruch gut überdeckt wird. Der Butyl-Kautschuk haftet sofort am Material; nachjustieren ist kaum möglich. Jetzt nur noch mit einem weichen Tuch und mit leichtem Druck auf die Aluminium-Oberfläche das Band andrücken und evtl. Luftblasen oder Falten andrücken auf das Zinkblech. Über die Haltbarkeit und dauerhafte Haftung, die Regendichtheit und Hitzebeständigkeit kann ich noch keine Aussage machen; werde die Rezension aber ergänzen.
