They did not get back with me when I reported the damage with pictures to the ones I purchased. **Q: How do you sharpen them?** A: Do NOT use normal knife sharpeners especially the powered grinding wheel type they will shatter the knife. Ceramic blades are sharpened by grinding the edges with a diamond-dust-coated grinding wheel, The Only way you can sharpen Zirconia Ceramic Knives is if you happen to have a glass bevel polisher, A flat metal wheel coated with diamond-dust laying on its side with a angle guide you hold the side of the knife against, I have tried other polishing compounds NONE are hard enough to polish Zirconia Ceramic knives. Diamond Files are too coarse to sharpen Zirconia Ceramic knives; they chip the edge of the blade and it is too difficult to get the proper angle using Diamond Files. **Q: How do reattach the ceramic knife and handle I? It separated. Glue?** A: I'd contact the seller, these are not supposed to seperate. If you do try and glue that please be sure that you have the blade covered with something strong so you don't cut yourself!!!! These are SHARP!! **Q: I broke the 6" chef knife, completely my fault. She cooks at the local Fleet Reserve Assoc. at least 3 days a week and the knives they were using were, well, very worn and not taken care of. I know that ceramic blades are known for being super sharp, and holding an edge for a good while and that they are considerably lighter than steel blades. My GF weighs barely weighs 100 pounds so I thought these would be easier for her to use and cause less stress on her tiny little wrists. She absolutely loves them and doesn't let anyone else touch them. Of course, she cut herself pretty good on day one, but now has a healthy respect for the sharpness of these blades and exercises more care. She swears by the vegetable peeler. Makes salad bar prep much easier for her.
