Holds the front weight of a 2007 Nissan Sentra!
Worked perfect for my home made alignment "machine"! No grinding noises or any other signs of stress on the bearings. I figure it will only turn less than an inch each use anyway. I was having a hard time getting a good adjustment with just the blocks, too much binding or it would turn the steering wheel. These turntables make it so much easier and my results are pretty accurate from my measurements. Some day I'll sacrifice the $100+ and compare with shop reading to know for sure. After rebuilding the entire suspension components from subframe bushings to wheel hubs with all OEM parts and new OEM bolts, I will probably need to adjust it again after a few miles once it all settles completely. And with the pothole infested roads of New England, it'll need adjusting often. So I don't feel like dropping a $100+ to have a shop do it every time. For those interested in the setup: Considering I already had the jack stands, thread and other stuff laying around, I spent roughly $80 in materials for the wood for the 4 blocks, turntables, a good ruler, pvc pipe etc and an afternoon to build it. For that, all I used was a circular saw, hammer, tape measure, reciprocating saw (hacksaw works too)! If you don't have any of the tools, or jack stands and a good floor jack, the initial setup may run you $200-300 as you'll need a floor jack that can lift pretty high (I have a 3 ton HF Pittsburgh jack). Then again if you don't have any of these things, you probably don't service your own car and I would recommend just taking it to a shop. ;) Bottom line, great product, highly recommend if it suits your purpose!!

Solid and stable
I use the bearing in my spray room to rotate my work so no walking around to the back... Spins easily, holds as much weight as I can lift, and keeps working even with a little overspray inside. Great item.

Better than the chinese-one I replaced
Perfect performance and ease of installation on my Amish Lazy-Susan. Spins with only a touch and a few drops of oil made it quiet. Recommended.

WARNING: THIS IS NOT AN AMUSEMENT RIDE !!
What perplexed me is mounting the Lazy Susans Bearing: (It is mounted on a piece of 3/4" plywood underneath, and another piece of 3/4" plywood is up top, the rotatable element. There are screw holes to mount the supporting lumber underneath, and screw holes to attach the rotating table up top. Without some knowledge and wisdom from the people who make these, as to how-to mount, I ended up using top notch RTV silicone adhesive PLUS the wood screws to the bottom, and simply lotsa RTV between the upper bearing surface and the plywood rotating shelf's underside. Then, when centered, placed a hefty load up top to serve as a clamp-down force, and left the whole shebang for over 24 hours to cure. Needless to say, RTV, when carefully and generously applied, works wonders, and now it's very firmly secured. The other preparation was to use a medium artist's brush and to mop-in a generous amount of Lubriplate-type white grease into the ball bearing galley, and I mean generous, all the while moving the bearing around to work in the grease to the balls and to the races. Now, when I demonstrated the piece to the customer and had them rotate the shelf, the "feel" was one of heavy dampening, but easy to turn. As it is used to support a laptop computer able to swing around in a conference room, the mechanism does not feel at all flimsy. It's worth the prep time and materials as this is a worthy mechanism.

WORKS GREAT
Received the Item on time with a nice touch of a "Thank You" card from Woodpeckers Abby. The item works great though it takes some expertise to install. I had to look up the installation on Youtube and you require some specialised tools like the drill bits etc. I would give it a 5 star given the installation challenges. Once installed, the Lazy Suzzanne was a bit noisy even after lubrication, but then I realised once you load items on top of it, it quietens. Overall good value for Money.

American Quality
Great American made product. It's not super quite, but for the price and the type of bearing it's great. Better than the China junk.
