Great jacket for riding, ranch/farm work, or casual wear-- very warm
I bought this in my "usual" size for riding, and it's the perfect length and fit for that purpose (a bit close-fitting and slightly short). The two-way zipper is a lifesaver in the saddle. If you're buying it for casual/work wear, or want to layer, I suggest ordering a size up. LOVE the outer material (it's water-resistant enough to stay dry in light/misty rain), love the details and hardware (zippers on the sleeves, adjustable hood, inner security pocket that has a holster strap if you're into that kind of thing, etc.), and it's deceptively warm! I always get tons of compliments too.

Listen to the others and get one size larger
This is a terrific jacket. It is soft to the touch and warm from the lining.It is made well and fits well, however, I suggest getting one size larger.

Size up
I loved the quality of the jacket itself. It's super well made, and warm. But it definitely runs small. I have only ever bought small or medium jackets at the largest before this, and I ordered a large after following the size chart. It was too tight/small in the shoulders and chest area, and I'm pretty petite person that does not have a large chest by any. So, I would recommend the jacket if you go up a few sizes from what you normally do.
