Both the zipper and snap seem sturdy enough. Before traveling with it, I machine washed the cover in a mesh laundry bag and air dried it. It dried quickly, with no shrinkage. Totally happy with this purchase.

Ten stars for this super-soft pillow cover. It easily fits onto a Travelmate memory foam travel pillow I purchased on Amazon a few years ago. I'm a repeat buyer. My husband and I use our neck pillows every night. After ear surgery it allowed me to sleep on my side, with my ear hanging over the center hole. My husband was waking up with a stiff neck, so he tried sleeping with it around his neck. He has not had a stiff neck since then. When you use it every night, having a washable cover is a must. Even if you only use it when traveling, heaven only knows what dust and germs your pillow encounters in the car or plane. The pillow covers go through the washing machine with our standard loads, no special care required. Great product!
