i ordered this skirt in a small red at first. But when I received it- not only did it fit just a tad big in the waist (I have a 26.5 waist) but the zipper also got stuck when I was trying it on and I couldn't get out of it!! I ended up having to cut the zipper in order to get free. And we tried for a good half hour. Despite the skirt seeming to be just a tiny bit loose in the waist it was so perfect and I was sad that the zipper was defective. Thank goodness for Amazon prime. I sent it back free of charge and replaced it with the army green skirt also in a small. I was even willing to have it taken in. But no need. The skirt arrived today and fits beyond perfect. I'm so happy I gave it a second chance. For those that it is helpful to, I'm 5'6.5, 125-130 pounds And usually a 2 in dresses, small in shirts and a 4 in jeans in women sizes.The skirt is lined and is excellent quality. It has a little weight to it and not see through. I think it might be a little hot in the summer if you live in a humid area. It’s a great skirt and I highly recommend.Update 3/3/20- 2 years later I’ve also bought this skirt in the blush pink, black, grey, and just got it in khaki. The last color I plan to get it in is navy. Since the first two I bought, they’ve changed the pattern to an elastic-back waist to accommodate varying waist sizes which is nice. I preferred the original pattern because it just looked more put together in my opinion but it’s still very nice.It washes well. I hang dry them (but I hang dry all my clothes to preserve color and texture.)In the winter I wear them with knee high boots and leggings to keep warm. In the summer I wear them with heels or sandals.I’m glad I didn’t let my first experience deter me from this gem.

Perfect for work! I'm 5'5", 120lbs and ordered a small. The band was slightly big at the natural waist, but not enough to cause a problem. Despite having no belt loops, pair this with a thick belt. It defines your waist, giving balance.The fabric is nice and heavy. Great skirt.

I love this skirt. I was between a medium and a large according to the sizing chart (my wais is about 29.5") and I decided to go with a large. So the skirt actually falls a few inches below my waist and I have some wiggle room. It looks good with tops like I wanted it to, so I don't think it's too big. It is pretty long on me (almost ankle-length) because I'm 5'2". However I love the way it looks and I've gotten tons of compliments on it. Very pleased!

If you are in between sizes I would recommend going with the smaller of the sizes. I am an 8/10 I went with a large, and I am sending it back and will get a medium instead. I am able to put my whole hand in the waist band and still have room.Otherwise it is made very well, and very flattering, can't beat the price! This skirt is worth tailoring if needed. I may hem mine, I am 5'2 and the length is a little too much for a short person. But that's how it is for any clothes honestly.

Over the past few months, I’ve purchased four of these skirts in different colors, which tells you how much I love them! The price is reflected in a few details, notably the tiny hem and short lining. But I think that those are a fair enough trade off for a flattering, easy-care skirt at such a good price.The trouble started with my most recent purchase. While the previous skirts I purchased had a solid waist with a zipper, the ones being sold currently have elastic at the back. I see that the product description has now been updated to reflect this. Besides the elastic, the skirts are identical to my previous purchases. The fit seemed approximately the same. The company informed me that the elastic is the new style, though there might still be a few of the older solid fabric ones mixed in at the warehouse. They suggested that I return the new skirt and try reordering to see what I would get. Personally, I am really disappointed with the change. I’d be thrilled to receive the older style, but if you’re expecting the listed elastic style, you might be in for a surprise.

I am saying it is fit as expected rather than some what small because I took the liner out. This skirt is so comforable and flowy. I'm 5' 5" and it landed a few inches below my knee. The pockets are fantastic I put my big I phone 6 plus and keys in it and you couldn't even tell! I would buy again and would recommend.The only Con and I'm not going to mark down for it only because it is an easy fix. THE LINER! - it is way too small for the sizing. I bought a large and the liner fit like a small. The liner doesn't do anything for the skirt so I cut it right now and it fits perfect! This skirt is too comfortable and cute to not get it because of a liner you can easliy cut out. So I hope that doesn't stop someone from buying it.

LOVEEEE this skirt, I'll probably buy it in every color. The back is stretchy to fit when you're feeling more bloated or whatever. There are pockets and they are amazing pockets, super deep. I feel amazing in this skirt, fits perfectly with some stretch room. I am normally a size 12 and ordered a Large. I just had a baby a month ago so it will fit me when I lose a little more weight and is still comfortable now while I'm mushy. So you could size down easily enough I think but I love the fit.

This is a wonderful simple skirt and goes with almost anything. It arrived on time. The quality seems good though the elastic seems to twist a bit. I do wish it was a bit shorter as it falls just below my knees. I am 5'5 and 110 pounds for reference. I will probably be ordering another in black.

Had to return and get a size down. Return process was simple! Back part of the skirt waist is elastic so it has a bit of give for sizing.For $25 this skirt is super cute and pretty decent quality! And POCKETS PEOPLE! I can't believe it's 2019 and women still get excited about pockets in their clothes, but here we are.

The fit of this skirt is not terrible, but if you have hips, you should know, this skirt will puff out hard right below the waist band. The design is built to give smaller hipped girls more defined curves, but if you already have curves, they are going to be much more pronounced (in my case maybe a little too much). This is perhaps my own fault for not thinking of this when I ordered the skirt initially but I think they could tone down the near muffin top effect that you get by simply reducing the amount of fabric/fabric layers a bit at the top. Have not actually worn this out in public yet, gives me low-key halloween costume vibes and feels a little bit like a shower curtain...

Nowhere in the pictures or description does it mention (or show) that the back waist looks differently from the front waist, which is annoying because the back is a ruffled elastic and kind of reminds me of something on a kid or elderly persons clothing. (Sorry)It was super wrinkled when it came, so we will see how it wears in a day. (Kind of a track pant type of material?)I will try to pair it with something that can cover the back and see how it goes.Positive, not sheer or see through at all, and fits true to size, so there’s that!

The skirt is just perfect... it is easy to wash and to wear. The skirt has a side pockets, a side zipper on the right side and the back of the dress has an elastic band. I am about 5'4". The skirt extends past the knee about 4", is classy and nice. It will never go out of style.
