Does this product have SLS as an ingredient?

It sounds as though the question is not whether or not a product contains SLS but whether or not it contains significant amounts of 1,4 dioxane and why the government is not requiring manufacturers to report on the LABEL whether or not it does. As always, a clear government standard and stricter government regulation is the answer here.

Sure, why not! This seems great to use for that! I use Parent’s choice baby bottle dish soap to wash my daughters high chair tray, cups, and more! 😊🙌 good luck!

how is it at cleaning backed on food from dishes . and how would this stand up to Dawn dish soap ?

Not as good as Dawn, not even close. This is a decent dish soap, it's very mild, though. If that's what you are looking for, it's great. Cleaning the dishes after meals, pretty good. If you have baked on food on your pots, pans and dishes, this will work, but you have to use more and scrub a lot harder than you do with Dawn. I bought a few cases but ended up using it for the soap dispensers in the bathrooms, and for insecticidal soap in my orchard. I even used it to wash the dogs when I ran out of dog shampoo once. Works great for that kind of stuff. I didn't find it that effective for cooked on food on dishes and pans. I had to use Bar Keepers Friend for every pot or pan before I used this soap to get everything off. I cook daily and use several pans and dishes. I found that for pans that have been used for roasting meat, it's almost useless. Doesn't get all grease or carbon off your pans without a lot of soaking and struggle. No thanks, I don't have that kind of time and energy to spend washing dishes.

7th Generation Liquid Dish Soap Free and Clear. This stuff is magic. seriously. no residue! ESPECIALLY ON PLASTIC!!!!! NO TASTE!!!! We use this to wash our fruits and veggies before using as well and it works very well to get all the wax and dirt off of them quickly and. with no taste. We will continue to use this product as our dish soap for handwashing our dishes.

Eco friendly, people friendly product

I have used 7th Generation for several years now and I highly recommend their products. If they say "no scent" they mean it. If they say it cuts grease, then boy howdy does it! And while they may be a tad more expensive than more commercially known dish soaps and laundry products, in the long run, this isn't the case because their products last longer and do a better job than almost anything else on the market.

Good product

This is a great nontoxic soap but some leaked put in the shipping box. Shippers could do a better job to insure this does not happen.

Clean

This broke open in the box it was shipped in, and USPS returned the whole box to Amazon. Both bottles broke open the second time, but it must have been just before it arrived Luckily, the other stuff in the box was in plastic bags. In spite of the shipping issues, I love this stuff! I am sensitive to scents, and this has none. My dishes look, feel and smell clean. It's thinner than other detergents I've used, but that's fine with me. I didn't like the way the thick stuff stuck to my fingers. I'm going to have to check out other Seventh Generation products!
