Great camping stove
I have had this for a fairly short amount of time, so things may change. What I am finding so far is:1. Reasonably light and well thought out design overall.2. Quick and easy to setup and get cooking. I wouldn't manhandle the thing. It goes together easy enough and my gas sniffer can't find any leaks. I put the regulator in a plastic bag before storing in the stove so it is not thumping around in there as I transport the stove.3. Easy to clean, granted my stove already has some stains on it. Nothing that is not expected and overall the most visible parts of the stove clean up quick and look great at this point.4. It takes a little practice to get the heat right. This stove can get blazing hot if you want and with no wind and a high setting, you can burn your food to a crisp in an instant. Plus those starter fingers get glowing hot and I have to wonder how good (or bad) an idea it is to have those glowing hot. If there is some wind, even though this has some wind shielding, the settings that work fine with no wind won't hardly cook your food at all. So with some experience and getting used to how the flame looks under various lighting conditions and such, you can dial it in under a number of conditions and get your food cooked right. I generally shoot for the range of the starter fingers are either not glowing at all, just barely under that threshold or only glowing a bit if there is some wind and this usually cooks at a good rate. A fair amount of wind and those starter fingers end up glowing a fair amount to get the heat right.5. A 1lb tank should last you for days unless you are really doing a whole lot of cooking. Getting an adapter hose to hook up to a much larger tank also works fine, but you probably want to plan ahead a little and shut off the valve to a lager tank a few minutes before you are done cooking in order to purge the line. Of course with a 1 lb tank there is no line to purge, so doesn't apply.I am thinking what I should probably do next time I cook with it is get out my heat gun and take measurements of the cookware to see how hot it is getting. The stove itself is dead simple and easy to operate, which is good. It is just a question of how good the operator is at using the stove.

Great Little Camp Stove!
Purchased this for a camping trip several years ago and never used it, but finally had the chance this past week on a wilderness camping trip. This little stove is compact, easy to set up and a snap to use! The self-igniting worked on 1st click and the coffee was ready in no time! Adjustable flame knobs worked perfectly to cook as you would on a home gas stove. We are very happy with this and look forward to much more use!

Classic Dependable Stove with Great Performance (Easy mod to fix rattles)
I purchased this as my main stove for my van conversion so I could cook either inside our outside as conditions dictate. This stove is bomber and cranks out the BTU's for fast cooking. It can be dialed down to simmer with a delicate touch.Note that as simple mod to reduce the rattle when packed is to put a small rare-earth magnet on the wind-screen flap at the end. This keeps both wind screens firmly against the lid when stored greatly reducing the rattle and also keeps them from flopping around as you open or close the stove. (It's a fix that should be standard!)

Great stove with a few quirks
The media could not be loaded. Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was torn between this and the Camp Chef Everest 2x. In the end, this won out because there were some negative reviews about the reliabilility of the valve, its bigger, and the pricepoint on this Coleman was much better (90 dollars on deal) Simmer control is probably the most important feature for me. For car camping, I have an older coleman that I like but the flame isnt resilient to wind at low simmer. This stove, while not much higher in output, definitely exhibits a better tolerance to wind at low simmer. I can crank it down pretty low and blow on the flames pretty hard and it won't go out. The igniter requires a bit of a push, which is somewhat annoying as you have to hold the stove in place when pressing the igniter. Other than that its solid. The wind breaks are adjustable to a degree. My ONE major annoyance with this stove is that in order to get adequate fuel flow to ignite, you have to turn the knobs at least half a turn or more before the fuel begins to release. Its not a deal breaker, just annoying. All in all its a solid stove for the price point. Note: I did use some small magnets (one on each side) to hold the wings in place - see video. And it packs up just fine.

Simple, effective camp stove.
Good value for a bit of useful nostalgia. We used Coleman camp stoves when I was a kid. Perfect for boiling water or other cooking needs that the Blackstone Griddle isn't suited for.
