Hakko American T18-D12 Tip, 1.2D, Fx-8801, 907/900M/9

There are SO many fake Made in Japan ones, especially on eBay. This one authentic and is good. I am totally impressed. The real one has the beveled metal part where the top of the tip meets with the cylinder metal part. The FAKE ones do not have that beveled part and their tips practically get chipped after 5 minutes of use. The FAKE ones have fake "Made in Japan" plastic cover but not etched onto the product itself. The FAKE ones are sold on the "unsafe" eBay stores most by sellers from China!

This tip is exactly the size and shape I needed to build effects pedals. It has just enough surface area for efficient heating.

Simply the best! Even though 1 of these costs as much you can get a pack of 10 knock offs for you get what you pay for and it’s worth every penny. I’ve never burned out one of these tips.

Love this size chisel & my Hakko station!!

I was having an exercise in frustration trying to get solder to flow correctly using one of the other knock off brand .12m chisel tips. I was trying to solder 22 AWG wire to LED strip pads, and the solder just would not flow. Changed to the .12m Hakko tip, and JOY! Solder flowed perfectly, melted almost immediately, and I even turned my machine down from 325 - to 315C. I have a cheaper knock off soldering station, and using this Hakko tip it feels like a totally different machine than it did trying to use the cheapo-knock off brands. Do yourself a favor and NEVER buy those frustratingly low quality knock offs. They just don't heat well. If you don't believe me, just buy ONE Hakko tip (or Weller, etc), and see for yourself. You'll never go back to the knock offs.

If your soldering iron is compatible with Hakko tips, use Hakko tips.

I have a small 25w weller sp23l thats portable and sits in my tool box. Ya it's not big but the weller tips for this thing suck. I didn't want to buy another portable iron so i did some research and found people playing with different tips. I bought a new Weller MT1 tip and pressed this tip over it and believe me or not i've done a dozen small solder projects with this tip and it still looks newish. Takes a little longer to get to temp but for what i am doing it's ok.

Did not fit soldering tip model it was advertised too fit.

Ist natürlich besser als die beigelegte Spitze. Durch die dickere Form kann diese mehr Hitze speichern, das Löten geht dadurch genauso präzise aber viel schneller und unproblematischer. Ich löte vorwiegend kleinste Elektronikbauteile auf PCB Platinen.

安価なハンダこてセットの小手先がすぐに使いにくくなったので買いましたが、安価なセットとは異なり使いやすいようです。特に無塩はんだで扱いやすくなりました。（安価なこて先でも鉛はんだなら低温で問題はなかったのですが） 無鉛ハンダで基板を作成する場合はこちらを使います。

Great quality tip. I've been using the same tips that came with my budget soldering station for the last few years, and they work, but they're now so corroded that solder doesn't want to stick to them. I decided to try something higher quality, and the difference is apparent. Even under visual inspection, there is more mass and thicker walls on the hako tip, which definitely lends to more even and better Heat distribution. I'm glad I started with cheap tips and taught myself proper technique, because now soldering is incredibly easy.

La punta è ottima e si adatta perfettamente alla stazione saldante Hakko FX-888D, altrettanto buona. Peccato che il tutto venga un po' rovinato dal servizio di consegna di Poste Italiane, lentissimo e poco affidabile; hanno ritardato più volte la consegna senza nessuna spiegazione.
