KYONANO 51mm Espresso Coffee Tamper with 304 Stainless Steel Base

Good weight, real wood, perfect fit. This is a really good quality find, rivaling others 3x the price. Love it

used with dosing funnel i can tamp with good pressure.i don't know if i need it but it's a beautiful object.

this fit perfect in my 51mm portafilter (casabrews cm5418). it looks much nicer in person than it did online honestly, I got the “red” color but it’s a nice neutral wood and has a great weight to it. definitely an upgrade in both feel and functionality from the plastic tamper I had before, this makes it much easier to get an even tamp. it came a little banged up in the box (even though Amazon box was intact), but the product itself was in perfect condition so no real complaints there. overall, this is great value for the price

Don’t put too much pressure, just enough until the coffee grounds sink and go no further.

Absolutely love this! It’s substantial in weight and very, very high quality. Similar ones at upwards of $100.

Definite improvement if you're using the plastic default tampers. The handle feels nice. The metal part is smooth and easy to clean. Either a quick wipe or rinse with water is sufficient. Coffee grinds don't really stick to it. The tamper base has a circular ring design on the bottom, so it'll imprint circles into your portafilter grinds. Big thing with this tamper is the weight. It definitely has some heft to it. Really satisfied with it.

Fancy

Was more weighted than I thought, which was perfect.

I like its weight, colour and shape! Enjoy my coffee more with it. Thanks.

The wooden handle looks lovely and the base is properly flat for an even tamp.

Very good weight and feel of thsi tamper. I use it daily. I prefer it over the spring loaded ones. Classic

Good price. Nice weight to it. Nice wooden handle. Recommended.

Great value and as good as any "professional" tamp you can buy. Crazy to think that a few years ago these things were £70 - £100 for what is essentially a bit of plated steel and a handle. I've been pulling shots with my Rocket R58 for years and years so you can trust me when I say to you, this is a 10/10 tamp - you can safely ignore those crazy expensive "audiophile" tamps on Amazon or artisan coffee gear shops - they will not make your coffee taste any better.
