Perfect, the circle on top lock them shut. I got them as a short picker upper. This is a good help for the elderly.

How I arrived at my overall rating: **** (4 stars) Value **** (4 stars) Purchase price: $7.99 Was cheaper than comparable sets at the time Quality/Durability *** (3 stars) Duration of use: year and a half These are decent, but don't like the fact that they are not a single piece....the pincers insert into the handle. Since they are silicone covered, the sliding movement against metal will cause the silicone to wear off. Starting to notice that the exposed metal is rusting....meaning the pincers may not be stainless steel Ease of Use/Assembly/Install: **** (4 stars) They have a nice feel and grippy enough to pick up variety of foods. Usefulness/Appearance/Fun Factor: **** (5 stars) Like the utility of having 3 different sizes. So far they are in the kitchen utensil rotation and have not had major issues

I LOVE there tongs. I had a pair tings already but I needed more than one set. This set of three is perfect. The sizes are great since I didn't need a large set for all the things I use them for. I actually bought two sets so I have 6 pair, two large, two medium, and two small. These clean up easily either by hand or in the dishwasher. The original one I own did discolor but I don't remember what caused it. I bought an small one from another site but the tips come off of it so I I didn't want to use it all the time. That's when I went looking for more. These aqua colored one match my kitchen decor, another plus. They open easily, I usually just push the end on my stomach because that's the quickest and easiest for me. To close, it's not quite as easy. I usually pull the end out with my mouth, yep, uck, huh!! But, that's what I do because I don't need two hands to do it. Once closed, these stay closed on the counter. When I put them into the utensil holder, that's another story. Because my holders are way too full, these sometimes open as I push them into the holder. I need to clear out many of the utensils that I don't use to make room for these. However, if you store yours in the drawer, they certainly would stay closed. The other one I have has never shown any signs of heat problems and I am sure these new ones are the same. One of my great Amazon purchases.

These are very sturdy set of tongs and the ends don't slide off into the food like other sets I've had. The tips are intergraded all the way through the handle which is nice.

Got this set today! They are nice! Look like they will work good! My 4 year old autistic daughter thinks they are super fun and hides them, so got a 3 pack this time 🤣

Wir haben dieses 3er-Set vor kurzem gekauft. Die Zangen sind durch ihre Einrastung im geschlossenen Zustand sehr praktisch in der Schublade aufzubewahren. Haptik und Verarbeitung machen einen guten Eindruck.

Well, I never thought I would be reviewing kitchen tongs, but these are about as good as it gets. I was actually sold on the colour and the fact that they came as a set of three. However, the quality is fantastic and well worth the high price. Unlike similar style tongs, there are no sharp metal edges, as the edges have been turned inwards. The spring loading is rattle free and and reassuringly firm, whilst the tips are silicon coated which are firmly seated in the body of the tongs. I would be amazed if they came off at all, let alone easily, like cheaper versions do. All in all, a truly excellent set of kitchen tongs!

Pinces très pratiques, surtout avec les 3 tailles, bien que j'utilise très peu la plus petite, le revêtement est très bien et les matériaux sont de qualité. Passe au lave vaisselle et se nettoie très bien à la main aussi. Très bon rapport qualité/prix.

El material de las pinzas es bueno, tanto de la estructura como de la silicona. Con los tres tamaños te apañas para lo que necesites, para sartenes en la cocina como para una barbacoa. El modo de cierre hace que no ocupen mucho sitio y se pueden colgar.

I have everything in orange in my kitchen, so most of my utensils are either wood / bamboo, black or orange. Hence I was finally happy to obtain a set of orange silicone tongs for my non stick cookware. I have used all 3 multiple times since getting them and I am very happy with the design and construction of them. They are very durable and have nice and strong grips with large ends. The small 7 inch tong is really great for picking up small and delicate items like individual shrimps or crudites and the other sizes are great for protecting my large non-stick pans when I brown / sauté larger pieces of meat or vegetables. In fact it is strong enough to hold a 20oz veal chop by itself easily. With their construction though I wouldn't wanna use them as salad tongs or for things like coleslaw or berries though. Their grip is not "fine" enough. They can be difficult to clean though as the "bars" are "open-cell" construction-like most tongs of this type. Small food particles can get trapped requiring more detailed cleaning. I wouldn't trust them in a dishwasher either, but cant say for sure. I do not own one. I haven't needed to use them at their highest heat yet though. I'm just using them to flip meat or as a convienient grabber at standard oven cooking temps. So I cant comment on that part yet sadly.
