Exactly what you need for the Rebuild
The product is perfect. OEM parts are really what you need for a mild build. Really nice construction. Make sure they are flat and not bent!

Good gasket for stock engines.
It's well known that GM MLS LS gaskets can take a lot of abuse. I don't know, my car just has stock power levels, for this - I'm sure the gaskets will last longer than the rest of the car. Why take a gamble? Get these gaskets.

They are only 3 layer genuine GM gaskets
They are genuine GM gaskets but not what I was expecting. Everywhere I read said these should of been 5 or 7 layer gaskets when they was only 3 layer, But for the price they ain't bad.

Multilayer steel is the way to go
This is the only gasket I use on an LS. Good stuff.

Does not fit 97-02
Perfectly fine gasket. Just doesn't fit 97-02 ls1, 4.8, 5.3 with notched cylinder heads. Pre-2002 ls will leak water

This part number comes up as a fit for 4 ...
This part number comes up as a fit for 4.8 and 5.3 bores, but it is actually the 5.7 bore, and while that may work, you will get less sealing surface than finding an aftermarket gasket that has the correct bore.
