This is a great product to keep in your purse or bag, to pull out when you’re stuck waiting somewhere and just do a quick review with your kid. It has all the information needed to start kindergarten. Make it into a game ask questions or even conversation starter. We used ours in the waiting room at the drs office and it was great learning tool and durable, definitely a good value for the money. Now we use it in the car on our way to school.

These are nice sturdy cards. I love how they are on a ring so they will stay together. I have 3 sets of them. Calm down cards: These cards would make a great addition to a calm down corner or station. I think the panda was a good choice to use for the cards. He looks so friendly, inviting and calm as do the background images on the front and back of the cards. I plan on using these for students in my third grade class who struggle with anxiety and/or calming down. Math strategies: These cards would be great at a homework station at home when your kiddo is stuck, or used for specific students or a math center aid in the classroom. My 6 year old daughter recognized each of the strategies listed and understood that different strategies are better in different situations. I think that the strategies on the cards are straightforward and simply stated so students can use them independently once they can read. PreK learning cards: These cards are perfect for my daughter who is going into preschool this fall. They are good practice for skills she mostly knows (ex. colors and the alphabet). The cards will be good to revisit throughout her first and second year of preschool to help teach her and reinforce skills that she is learning in school.

This Reading is Thinking flash card bike is an amazing resource!! It could be used in the classroom or at home to help booster a learner's reading skills. As a classroom teacher, I would keep this flash card bundle in my rolling cart by my guided reading table. I would reference this bundle while I am planning guided reading lessons, while students are reading and for questions after the students have finished reading. I could also incorporate some of these questions during a class read aloud time. I also plan to use this flash card bundle at home with my two children, 11 and 8 years old, who struggle with reading. This flash card bundle is nice , because it prompts you with questions and sentence starters so that you don't always have to come up with them on your own.
