I have ordered this now for about a year and thought I should write a review on the product. I've tried several, "Nespresso" compatible capsules, here on Amazon, and I have found that the flavor richness of this companies is superior to others I've tried. While I am not a coffee connoisseur, all these flavors in this sampler are very rich and delicious. I am also a fan of "Petes" capsules also, so this one compares to Petes I think. I will keep ordering this variety pack and the price is also a plus! Capsules are the same as Nespresso's, Aluminum, and the flow of the pressure is the same, whereas, some of the companies don't seem to work good in a Nespresso machine and I worry that they will harm the machine. No problems here with this brand.

I am a long-time filter coffee fan of the La Llave brand, and I bought this variety pack primarily to try their espresso pods version along with the Don Francisco's blends, for my weekend morning delight. Overall, this was a good purchase. First, the technical quality is top-notch. These aluminum pods are high quality and reliable. I have had issues with puncture failures and crushed aluminum with other third-party pods, even from reputable coffee brands, but these worked flawlessly in my machine. I found the taste and the crema to be very good, and crema is how I judge my pods! I was particularly impressed when comparing these to the official Nespresso pods, which I am often not impressed with. Out of the four blends, the Café La Llave was the definite standout winner and exactly what I hoped for. The Clásico and Old Havana were quite good and enjoyable options. My only critique is that the Orgánico blend was lacking flavor, feeling a little watery, which was unexpected. I have to note here that I personally lean toward darker roasts (intensity min 8), so the Orgánico may just be that lighter roast (I'd estimate it around 5 rather than 7). Overall, this is a good purchase, especially for the pricetag at a time when coffee prices are turning into a luxury. I enjoyed the variety, but I will probably be doubling down on the Café La Llave version for future purchases. Final Verdict: If you are looking for reliable aluminum pods that pull a good shot with nice crema, this variety pack offers excellent value. It's a great way to discover your favorite blend - and definitely try the Café La Llave!

Sadly most of the coffees in this sample pack were incredibly bitter and acidic, too much for me to handle even with sugar/cream added. I like strong coffees like Cuban and Vietnamese styles with or without sugar, but sadly this sampler pack missed the mark for me. I was also surprised to see how watery these coffees were (and I tested another brand side by side, which had zero issues, so it definitely was not my espresso maker). Perhaps this might work for you, but I generally prefer stronger coffees without the burnt bitterness (dark roast does not mean burnt, btw). The acidity is surprisingly high in these coffees. If you have acid sensitivity where coffee can give you an upset stomach, I recommend you look elsewhere.
