Review: Almost like the higher end buffet version - Works well. Defenetly a knock off of the buffet brand. Some quality differences are noticable but it is still fairly well built. The key is to let the ice soften at room temperature for 5 or 10 minutes before making the drinks.

**Q: can you use sugar free drinks with this?**
A: I have only made margaritas but since it crushes ice and you add ingredients one should be able to make anything including sugar free drinks.

**Q: can I used this, like a regular blender for the kitchen?**
A: I don't think it would last long if you did.  We only used it a few times.  It was difficult for the blender to crush ice for slushies.

**Q: How fine does it grind ice - 'snow' cone, shave ice, or real slushy?**
A: Not real slushy texture, more like snow cone

**Q: Can you also make soft serve with this?**
A: No
