Was sceptical about cheaper hood latch pins. But these are great all aluminum no plastic, hold tight and installed great

Very cheap . After getting them lined up .with over and over pressing to unlock them the paint is already chipping off .ont of the threaded parts had a cut in the treads I had to use a file to fix the so the nut would go on past that part .they will work if you want something to get you by .but I will be buying way better quality soon and trash this .

I dont have anything bad to say, I put a 4 start just to catch your attention and to sayYou need to have the but nut properly adjusted so that your hood wont just open on it's own.Remember there is a ton of force from the air trying to push these open.My application was for a mid engine Factory five 818 so the body gaps didnt allow much air to get underneath and lift.but if these were on a front hood install, better make sure your factory hood latch is fully working just in case.

Had to return. Would not latch with ease. Super hard. Then could not unlatch. Returned and bought another brand. Thank goodness I tested before install.
