Used this to run 19V router off of 12 V network backup batteries. Make sure to use heavy enough wire on the input side to operate unit correctly. Its Been running non stop since purchase.

This was an easy solution to power a computer monitor from a 12 volt automotive source. Many of the monitors sold with an external power supply need 19 VDC to operate. I have a 29" LG extra wide display that I use with a 12 VDC NUC style computer. My goal was to be able to power both the computer and monitor, along with my computer controlled 12 VDC FlexRadio 6500 ham radio transceiver also 12 Volts, from my RV battery. All I had to do was crimp on some connectors and it worked greats. I also liked the enclosure this came in, which for me meant no worries about having to create an enclosure in order to prevent shorts. With this, I can use it like a dongle. I'm very pleased and may purchase another to keep in my truck.

I purchased this boost converter to supply 19 VDC power for my LG Gram laptop during an extended power outage. It is mounted on a small block of wood, to which were added an on/off switch, a power indicator LED, and a couple of standard power connectors. The power source is a RigRunner DC power distribution strip. The AweKing converter works very well for this purpose.
