Cut vinyl with scissors, vinyl cutting machine (plastic backing facing down), roller knife, or any method of your choice. 2. Once design is cut, weed out vinyl you do not wish to incorporate into design, leaving the plastic backing in place. 3. Preheat your iron to its cotton setting. Place fabric on a firm surface that will not be harmed by heat, such as an ironing board. 4. Place your design onto the fabric with plastic backing facing up, cover with the Teflon sheet, and press down with your iron, holding firm, for 15-25 seconds. Don't slide the iron around. 5. Lift iron and let vinyl cool before peeling. 6. Wait at least 24 hours before first wash.
