We started out with the hammock on our cat tree that it came with. Decent size, bowl was 11.5" in diameter. By 6 months, our kitten was spilling out of it but loved it just the same. He's a pretty long boy and getting chubby after being fixed; I'd say he's a larger-than-average built cat, though not giant like a Maine Coon, for example. (See first pic) This new hammock has the biggest bowl diameter I could find at 13.5" that was a decent price, and it is so much better! Easy to replace. He fits easily and as you can see immediately took a nap in it. It holds his weight just fine and the metal frame is sturdy and durable. (See second pic, we put the old bowl higher up, and you can see the relative size difference.) Material looks strong with good seams, and is nice and soft. Very happy with this product! (Also my cat is crazy about the fluffy ball toys that came with it.)

Had to replace the lounging basket that was original with the tree (weld broke, and was saggy). Easy to unscrew a few posts, and replace with this one (slightly bigger too). My girl popped right in and curled up for her morning nap!

My cat approved. Sleeps in it daily. Soft and roomy for her and she is about 9lbs. I replace yearly as it starts to wear through in spots.

Pretty sturdy and a good size for my 11+ lb cat. He fits comfortably and seems to enjoy lounging in it. Overall, happy with the quality!

I bought this to replace the hammock that came with my cat tree that was getting too small. This one is purrrrfect. Strong enough to hold my 12 lb kitty.

My kitten outgrew her basket Hammock. This one was the right size. It was easy to replace the old one. However, I do find the metal ring is not as heavy as the original one, so it kind of slopes down when the cat gets in. It doesn't seem to bother her but I would have liked the ring to be sturdier. I wouldn't recommend it for cats over 8 lbs.

My cat jumped in this immediately. I was surprised how well it matched my existing cat tower. I would’ve liked to have been a tad bit less shallow but my cat still seems to enjoy it.

My big cat fits comfortably in it. He’s about 13lbs. Sometimes I see Both the cats in the basket at the same time. The other cat is about 9lbs. So it holds 22lbs of cats no problem

Good quality and very good size. Had to replace the basket that came on the tree originally and this one is very similar if not identical. Fits a full grown, average sized cat with ease.

Like the product. Just have to get the cat used to it.

I like it cause it is bigger than average basket so my cats can lie comfortably in it. Strong enough for my 10lb cat, and no strong smell. Material is comfortable.

I am delighted with this replacement for my cat. He had worn out the original one. The hammock was the right size. The quality of the material is far superior to the original hammock. Pleasantly surprised that the replacement worked on the existing cat tree. I would buy it again

This is a large and respectable size. My cat has access to different beds ranging from hammocks to flat soft surfaces. He definitely has a preference for these circular hammocks.
