Actually they were beautiful, but I needed the larger, 4-5 inch size and the Amazon photo made them look larger and there was no size indicated on the description. I had no idea urchin shells came in other sizes. All descriptions on Amazon should include exact sizes....some do, some don't.I wanted new ones to replaces broken shells. see photo.I will be able to use elsewhere, but a better description would have been appreciated....

Great shells for use as wood turned Christmas ornaments. Shells arrived on time and intact with no broken shells. Great price and color for current use.

They came and many of them were nice lavender but several were also almost a pure whiteI did make another order in front of the same thing

I am anxious to begin making ornaments with the sea urchin shells. I was pretty impressed that only one of the shells had a small break - I know they are extremely fragile.

2 of the 10 were broken. I want to order 150 more for my wedding but am worried that many of those will be broken and I don't want to waste my money.
