This was a Christmas gift for someone who does wood carving and had a plan all ready in place of what they wanted to do with it for a wall plack. They were very happy to get it.

I initially bought these a couple of years ago to use as table place mats then I repurposed them for my baby shower as the base for the table center piece

So, I ordered both this set and another set to use as centerpieces for my sisters baby shower. I ended up returning the other set and keeping these because the other set was smaller in circumference than they had advertised.A difference between the two is that these wood rounds were unfinished on one side and sanded on the other (top) side rather than sanded on both sides. I did have some cracking in the wood but it was minor and didn’t really affect my purpose for them. Got lots of compliments and using as home decor now!UPDATE: over two years later still using these as home decor and they are still in the same great shape!

Perfect size for project.

I used these rounds for woodburning art. I was very happy with the quality of wood and the overall final piece turned out great. I used all four pieces for wood-burning and was very happy.They are a rough cut so I had to sand them for my art. The size and bark and shape were great! I ordered 9”-11” rounds and received four 9” rounds.

🪵🐰🐿🦊The bark was largely intact and the circumference was as advertised. Shortcoming was the slices had dark spots on the light wood 🪵 surface that didn’t look as if naturally occurring although they probably were. Doing a woodland- themed baby shower (twins- boy and girl❣️). Wanted to use wood slices as platters for animal shaped tea sandwiches, cookies, cupcakes, etc. with just a clear doily on top and a tiny stuffed woodland animal aboard. Amazon has an array of delightful paper goods, child-safe (some) woodland stuffed animals and more. Disappointed in the wood slices —not fully as pictured. Surface lighter and without the slight warm tint shown online. Wondering if worth the effort (heavy) to return or if I can do something to make the slices look better (varnish❓).🕊

I use these to set my potted plants on when I bring them in for the winter. They protect the floor in case of over-watering. They look great and do a great job of protecting my wood floors. They would be good for anything you need to elevate or protect from another surface. They were packaged very well and arrived in great shape. These will create a conversation buzz with visitors. Very nice!
