It seems to be well made and works great.

short circuited battery of serial device
unfortunately this instantly short circuited the battery of my serial device, causing the battery to have to be replaced.

DO NOT BUY THIS CABLE!
This cable is junk! It is merely a straight-through cable and there is absolutely no evidence that it contains an FTDI Chipset as indicated in the description. It obviously does not, and cannot possibly, do what it is supposed to do. I would give it ZERO stars if that were an option.
