Sahlen's Natural Casing Hot Dogs

I was looking for a hot dog that taste like and had the texture of the hot dogs that USED to be sold on the street in NY. Sabretts no longer taste like they had. I believe that company sold the name, but those dogs were NOT as good as the old Sabrett. Sahlens hot dogs were amazingly good. Extremely close to what I was looking for !

I come from a town outside of Buffalo, NY & grew up going out to get these Wonderful Hotdogs charbroiled summertime dinners. The only way to get them. So to live on the other side of the country having to live without my favorite hotdog. Well I just didn’t feel like it was summertime. Well in Socal that’s almost year round. To find them for shipping was great. I really do love the way they pop when their done, being natural skin. You should try them yourself if you ever get the chance. You won’t be disappointed.

The foks at City Made did a stellar job. Ordered my product on Saturday and it was on my dootstep Tuesday morning. They're in Buffalo NY and I'm in California. Now I can give my 93 yeat old Mother the best present ever!

Love these dogs and I'm really not that much into hot dogs. Don't be concerned that they come in two 5 pound packs. They arrive partially frozen, but can easily be separated down into smaller packages and then frozen again without affecting product quality.

Very expensive but just like home. The only ones I like.

My husband is overjoyed to have Sahlen's wieners again! The cost is high, but shipping overnight isn't cheap. I placed the order on a Sunday night, had 10 pounds of wieners by Wednesday morning. If only I'd sprung for the Bison Brand dip too...

Pretty pricey for the infamous Buffalo hotdogs but considering the overnight delivery, it was worth it.
