Excellent Book
If your looking for a book on how to install upholstery kits this is the book for you. Not a book for those who want to cut and sew their own custom uphostery. Covers every aspect of doing the interior of your car with a new kit whether its just the seats or the whole sha bang. From headliners to carpert and everything in between. A down to earth do it yourself book. No fancy or expensive tools required. Removes all the myths about upholstery work being something impossible to attempt on your own. Explains in step by step procedure how you can do it too with just a few hand tools and with little or no experience. All that's required is the desire to do a good job and take your time doing it.

Not too bad
This book was okay. The information it supplied was kind of vague, and I believe that the person doing restorations would be better served buying a factory body manual, in my case, as I am doing the interior of a Pontiac, a Fisher body manual, for more exact procedures. As a general, overveiw on how things are done, this book was not bad.

too much restoration photos
Not enough repair photos or information. Too much custom restoration info. Book insufficient for repairing old beaters.

Valuable for a beginning trimmer
good general auto upholstery guide. I was hoping for more information on leather/vinyl mixed seat repair techniques. Color pictures on inside pages would be an improvement.

Good basic information.
Good book for the beginner and basic how to. Dosn't answer all the questioms that come up when learning. Good for starters.
