These are the closest to the old Kotex tampons which were the only ones I could use. Thankfully this brand is so similar.

Love that they are organic which gives me peace of mind. They work really well and give great coverage…only have a couple complaints, with the super tampon, at least 5 different times they did not go all the way up after pushing fully on the applicator and they were a waste. My second complaint is the applicator can sometimes be very flimsy and not hard enough to push the tampon go all the way up. Although these things are frustrating, these are still my go to’s. I do hope the maker improves these issues.

These aren’t uncomfortable once in, they don’t leak anymore then a regular tampon would. I really like them! Even more so knowing they aren’t filled with chemicals like your average tampon is! The applicator is a little weird and kind of hard to push in but once you get the hang of it, they are great!!! I recommend fully switching to these!

I have been a loyal Cora customer for OVER 3 YEARS and I am beyond disappointed with the new applicator design. I originally loved this brand because of the 100% cotton tampons and BPA-free applicators, and as a functional nutrition counselor, I have recommended these products to SO many women over the years. But the NEW applicator is TERRIBLE. Even when properly “clicked” into place, the applicator repeatedly COLLAPSES instead of pushing the tampon correctly. I thought maybe I got one defective box… but then I opened a SECOND box and had the exact same issue. It is frustrating, uncomfortable, and honestly unacceptable for the price point. I cannot believe they changed something that worked perfectly before. The old applicator was reliable and easy to use, and this redesign completely ruined the product for me. I will now be switching back to Lola because thankfully THEY have not ruined their applicator design. Cora has officially lost a long-time customer, and I sincerely hope they bring back the OLD applicator because I know I cannot be the only one frustrated by this change.

This is my first review so here goes... I love these tampons! I've had 4 kids (including twins) and have a 7 day regular cycle that is normal to very heavy. I originally purchased 4 boxes of 36- half super, half regular-back in May 2017. I gave 1 box to my daughter so 3 boxes have lasted about 4 months. I don't have any of the issues other reviewers have had and that is why I felt compelled to write my review. I have tried numerous organic tampons, even tried the Diva cup-too messy, and these are the first to: 1. stay in, they have never fallen out or even slipped a little-this was a huge problem for me with other brands! Maybe this is bc I've had kids? 2. when inserting they slip right in & don't get stuck in the applicator so zero have gone to waste, I think this is bc applicator is plastic & organic tampons are usually paper 3. I change mine regularly every 2-4 hours except at night, depending on flow and I've never leaked with these, not even in the morning after 8-hour sleep. This has translated into so much more confidence and I'm now using fewer pads/pantiliners which equals less waste and eliminates the icky pad feeling (Houston is hot y'all, the fewer layers the better) 4. They are easy to open and don't make a ton of noise. Not a huge deal, but I'm an introvert and sincerely appreciate my tampon bringing more quiet into the world. 5. I love that they're not bright orange or hot pink. I carry my tampons freely (I usually tuck my huge pad into my huge bra) but I prefer for my long sparkly nails to be the loudest thing I wear & hate always having to compete with my period accessories so I appreciate that these blend with my outfit as I'm strutting to the bathroom. Honestly, that was the first thing that caught my eye about these. I am looking into signing up for the free trial on the website where they offer a plan to deliver every 3 months, but... 1. I need more than the max 24 tampons per month bc I'm buying for 2, almost 3, and that's not gonna cut it! 2. I also need pads/pantiliners and will have to purchase separately until, hopefully, Cora is making those too (hint, hint) So, for now, I'll continue to purchase right here.

1. The applicator is extremely awkward to use. I’ve used other compact tampons before, and I’ve never had one where I can so easily make one part of the applicator fall off once it’s “clicked.” I usually insert my tampons sitting on the toilet, and I dropped two of the applicator ends in the toilet trying to use it. Also, I have never used an applicator that I need to use TWO HANDS to insert before, but there’s a first time for everything I guess. 2. These tampons are so long and they seem to mostly expand up and down. Not only could I not insert it far enough (I could still feel it walking around after application), it actually hurt to remove and almost felt like it was scraping me despite it being fully saturated. 3. The super tampons barely absorb anything. I have a fibroid and my periods are heavy —I would insert this tampon and it would need to be changed 30-40 minutes later. Playtex Sport, my usual brand, has never given me this problem. Overall super disappointed by this product. I want to try organic cotton tampons because I know that a lot of big brand tampons contain chemicals I don’t want in my body, but these just didn’t cut it for me.
