Topical Filler Kit for Acne Scars and Wrinkles - Fair

I’m genuinely disappointed with Dermaflage. This product does not work, at least not in any practical or user-friendly way. The instructions are vague and confusing, especially around mixing. It never clearly explains how much to use, what the consistency should look like, or how to get it right. You’re basically guessing from the start, which already sets you up for failure. The video tutorials are confusing. Then there’s the application itself. When I tried to apply it, the applicator actually broke and slipped out and made a mess on my bathroom which made an already frustrating process worse. Even when it stayed together, the product didn’t apply smoothly or do what it claims. There are way too many steps for something that should be simple. Most people just want a one-step or two-step solution—apply it, cover it, maybe set it, and move on. This product is the opposite of that. It’s complicated, messy, and ineffective. Bottom line: this feels like a waste of money. Too many steps, poor instructions, flimsy applicator, and disappointing results. I’m not satisfied, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a straightforward, reliable camouflage solution.

I want to leave a very good review for this product, first because it works, and second because the product maker really worked with me to make sure I achieve the best results. When I first tried it, without the primer, this was a complete disaster. I could not get it to stay on the skin. It came rolling off on the texture pad. Super frustrating. With the primer, totally different story. This thing will stick to the skin like my own skin. It is even hard to peel it off. I now put it on in the evening, when I have plenty of time to mess with it, and it sticks through the next day no problem. I use it for my frown lines, and my forehead looks as smooth and realistic as a baby's. It really is uncanny how well it works. It's still a bit of a juggling act sometimes, to make sure I smooth it well before I apply the texture pad, so there are no bumps, but I'm a quick study. And the results are worth it. It is a bit expensive, I think, and I wish there was a way to get only a tiny bit of product out at a time. There is a lot of wasted product being squeezed out, because a very tiny bit goes a really long way. All in all, thank you Dermaflage team for working with me to make sure this product meets my expectations. I'm very pleased.

I simply could not get this to work. I have some skin atrophy on my forehead from a steroid shot that takes a long time to heal, and I have a few indented areas I was hoping I could cover. I tried every suggestion I read in reviews, watched videos, etc., and also ordered the primer. So much of the solution gets wasted, the tube dries over and sometimes only one side will express out. Always use a toothpick or the like on both sides before use, as it dries up quickly, even with the cover replaced immediately. Really wish it had worked, but I guess I am still on the hunt. This is now just taking up space in my bathroom because I passed the time to return and maybe if I keep practicing, it might someday work as intended.

I have a small indent on my face where an infected pimple had been and I got this to try to fill it. It does fill it in, but I can’t wear makeup with it. This product is beige colored but it doesn’t match my skin tone. And when it dries the edges come loose and it looks like peeling skin. No.., it looks like peeling latex on my face. And if I put makeup on it, it just looks splotchy on top of the scar filler. I’ve tried using it 4 or 5 times and tried to keep it inside the indent so the edges wouldn’t look like they’re peeling away but it doesn’t work. When you use the purple pad to smooth it, it spreads it out and you end up with the thin edges that don’t stick. I don’t recommend this product

Let me start by saying, yes this product works on hole like scars. The texture is like a thin rubber. If you have acne scars or pit scars this might work well for you, I wouldn’t recommend it for wrinkles. I wish I could say this product is a total miracle, it has its draw backs. After a while the edges can start to flake a little bit, making it more obvious. -but for me the flaking still looks better than the scar that I have. Also, it advertises a 1 month supply, but only comes with 10 of the single use applicator tips (so if you actually want to use it every day for a month no this does not come with a month supply). It’s worth it to me, I’ll probably buy it again, but don’t get your hopes up for a miracle. It’s also very easy to use. The attached photos are of the product by its self with no make up, with make up it blends a little nicer.

For 8 weeks I've been walking around with this terrible scar on my forehead. I've used Mederma, Scarguard, Liguid Band-Aid, silicone sheets, massage, roller, botox, and even nail polish to fill in this hideous depressed scar. I took the plunge and ordered this product and received it today. I had to patiently try it twice to get a good result. I finally ended up with something I felt good about going out in public with. My regret is dabbing a little concealer on it but it's definitely a much improved area. So costly and you do have to work fast. I used an applicator tip the first try. The tip is now filled and dried with unusable product. The second try, straight from the syringe. Mixed quickly and used the tool to spread a thin layer over the scar area and then quickly applied the pad and didn't move for exactly 2 minutes. BAM! The scar is almost untraceable. Today is the first day I've felt like myself in months! Be sure to use the pad during the product set in period. It's textured like skin and move quickly. Good luck to you. Darn scars!

Edit: I’ve been using this a few days and it works ok. Mine was missing the purple sponge so I used a quartz face roller once it starts drying and it helps flatten it out. Edit 2: I’ve been using this product for six months now and it works great once you learn how to apply it. It does dry up within seconds in hot weather so you have to mix and apply it fast. Overall Ok grateful to have something that covers my scar. Edit 3: I’ve been using this product for a year and a half and I can’t live without it. It takes a lot of practice to apply it but after you get the application part down you’re good to go. I don’t think the negative reviews are from people who used it a long time. Instructions suck. Product comes with multiple tools and instructions say “you can use it however you want”. Tell me what needs to be mixed with what! What are the extra little things that look like they have product used for? How do you make a product like this without giving detailed instructions?! Mine was also missing the purple pad. I purchased this product to fill in the "elevens" (the two vertical lines between my eyebrows and for my smile lines. I wasn't sure what colour to select, but given that I have light skin with yellow tones, I chose fair. Fortunately, it was a good match. Dermaflage does what it says it does, but it requires a bit of practice to apply it properly. After several tries, I felt much more confident. A small amount goes a long way. The only real negative and surprise about this cover up product, is that you can't apply it and then cover it with make-up. (foundation) It would look better if you could bring your make-up over it for a seamless blending. (Are you listening, Dermaflage?)
