The original remote that comes with Ubox 9 Pro Max (2022) is so rudimentary, lacking numeric entry etc and it runs on Bluetooth. This remote which claims to be compatible to Ubox9 is infrared and definitely not compatible. Oddly enough, the numeric entry works if the remote is within 5’ (yes, I did put new batteries) but none of the other buttons including power, ok, volume etc work, thus completely useless. If you are looking to get better remote to supplement Ubox 9, do not buy this.
