This has been the most inspiring true story I have ever read! This writing is a testimony that God is True, and He is Love. It is a journey of pain, faith, community, beauty, and HOPE. It is amazing how God worked out so many details to comfort the Langford family for the good after an unimaginable loss. As I read this story and the account of Justin's life along with how the Langfords brought their story to these pages, I felt as though I was walking through it with them. The initial pains, the thoughts, the doubts, but then the HOPE! The HOPE given to others through the gift of life, through organ donation. The deep rooted faith of family and friends which is a testimony to God's unconditional love for us, even in our worst suffering. It is through the witness of their suffering and their unwavering faith that touches my heart and renewed my spirit. Through my own tears, I read this journey of faith and HOPE. I am forever grateful to the Langfords for sharing their story and it's " Life changing" impact on those who received the donations and those of us who just became more appreciative of life and the anticipation of God's gift of eternal life.

Wow! I read this book in less than a day. As painful as it was, it was hard to put down. Tragic yet so beautiful. The strength and clarity of their faith and the promises of Jesus that they cling to do indeed give HOPE. And the grace and love that they are living and sharing is sure to have a huge impact on so many. Thank you, Langford family, for sharing Justin and yourselves so transparently and pointing us all in the right direction as we travel with you through your pain and loss and face our own trials and tragedies in this world.

I can't remember the last time I tore through a book so quickly. The Langfords and Kelsi are incredible human beings whose grief and healing journey is inspiring and healing for readers. Whether you're missing and grieving Justin or another loved one, you will find so much comfort in their words. You'll also cry - A LOT - so have tissues on hand. For me, this book was a reminder to focus on the the gifts we have in front of us right now as well as the HOPE we have for what is to come. I recommend this book with my whole heart.

Beauty & Hope from the Ashes is heartbreaking, raw, emotional true story of loss, love, faith and HOPE. Bryan and Janice join a club no parent wants to belong to. In the matter of seconds their lives change forever. Bryan and Janice share in this beautifully written book their story of how they have HOPE after experiencing the devastating loss of their son. This is a real family, sharing their real experiences in HOPE that others will find HOPE through tragedy.

I couldn’t put this book down. At times it was painful to read and the tears flowed but I also found myself pausing to smile or chuckle. The Langford’s are a beautiful family who have not wasted one moment in their pain. Their vulnerability in this book is humbling and their faith is inspiring. This is a book for everyone: whether you’ve walked through tragedy or not-their HOPE is contagious.

I received my copy yesterday and have spent today reading and going through numerous emotions. I lost my father a year ago in May and the Langford's words have proven to be cathartic for me. Anyone who has lost a loved one will gain from reading about their ongoing journey.

So many tears shed over this book. The opening was particularly poignant to me, having experienced that hotel, trams and the dining room so many times. I felt like I travelled with Bryan along that route to the airport and the desperation of needing to get home to loved ones. The depth of grief that you have all experienced would break the toughest of hearts. I so admire the fact that you have a religious grip and firm hand in your lives. You have written this so beautifully and I really encourage anyone and everyone to become organ donors and give life to future loved ones.
