I got a lamp that came with bulbs like the sun, so I looked for bulbs that were more of a dark amber color. I ordered these based on the photos. When they arrived, I thought that they weren't going to be much different than the bulbs I had because they were only slightly tinted. I put them in anyways and they are perfect! Such a warm glow that makes for a perfect relaxing space.

We bought two sets of these bulbs because we needed 6 for our light fixture. I thought they would look neat because they are a similar shape to the fixture. The fixture itself is a little shadded, but these seem pretty dim. The listing doesn't have the brightness listed in the title, but it is in the description. 40W. I thought that 6 of them together would be brighter, but that's not the case. At night, if I just have this light on, our house looks like a bar. Some might call it ambiance, but I think it's unfortunate because it is over our dining table and I like to see what I'm eating. Anyway, I think they are neat, but they could be a little brighter.

Bulbs arrived in perfect condition and are exactly what I hoped they’d be.

I hope this helps someone because I have never loved a lightbulb so much. It’s very dim and warm (not heat wise). It makes my living room feel like an old tavern and I could not be more obsessed. Worth the purchase!

This was a hard to source bulb for my scented wax warmer decorative lamp. These bulbs are quite expensive but are the only ones that work in my lamp. They are unique and so to me worth the money.

The wattage is exactly what I was looking for and the amber glass is nice. When ordering, make sure you get enough for a couple of spares, as the filament design seems to vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and if you buy a replacement locally they may not match.

Arrived well wrapped but even box was untouched one bulb was broken inside.I found these very dark. Way too dark for 40W.Nice for decoration purpose but not practical at all.

I’ve used these bulbs as shadeless bedside lights and they look great. A lovely warm glow and sufficient light to read with.
