Stout Tool ST-CS250 Portable Cutting Station

Great saw stand for my cordless Dewalt 20v (DCS371). Out of the box it does not work with the Dewalt saw, you will have to trim about 2 inches of plastic/composite off of the stand to account for a slightly wider handle on the dewalt saw, which looks to be due to dewalt's hook mount and thicker rubber handle grip than the stout saw. The on/off switch will not work with the dewalt saw and you can easily remove it and the associated plug from the stand. You will need to unscrew the black hook off the dewalt as well in order for the saw to slide into the base. The top guard fits perfectly on the dewalt with no modification. I added 4 washers to the stands table to raise it up 1mm to be flush with the dewalt cutting guard (just unscrew 4 screws). In order to make the dewalt fit, I cut off around 2x1 inches of plastic material on the right side where it meets the saw's handle. I've uploaded pictures for reference. I did a quick 15 min job using my dewalt multi-tool to get an idea of rough fit, so it's not pretty.

I had been intending to get one of these for years and finally got around to it. I should not have waited so long. I always like to have a home for all of my tools and this is the perfect home for this nice portable saw to rest when not in my hand. I did add some blade storage to the right side of the saw. It fits in the footprint and keeps my supplies together. I really like that on and off push button so that I do not need to use a spring clamp or cable tie on the trigger. Very quick to pull the saw out and use it for the hand held setup. I took off the thumb screw hold down clamp, but if it is an issue I will set it up with a Destaco clamp.

For the money, it works well. Stout bandsaw fits in nicely, clamps tightly, and there are power jacks that insert into the bandsaw, allowing use of the external power switch on the base instead of using the one on the bandsaw.

Nice table until you have to remove the bandsaw to change the blade and then the all the two cents Hardware will round right out absolute garbage Hardware on this unit then you will spend 3 hours trying to get it out because it's in a tight space
