However, in the winter time the sun beats into the room at exactly the right angle to blind you. I needed a really long curtain rod that still matched the other (much smaller) curtain rods in the house. This is perfect for the space! It’s not exactly the same as the rest of the rods we have, but it’s close enough. We have four large windows across and we didn’t even use the full length of the rod! It was easy to install, however, we didn’t have a ton of space between the top of the window and the ceiling and the size of the ball at the end of the rod limited to where we could install it. It ended up perfect! We’re very happy with this curtain rod and would absolutely recommend it to others.
