Prinny Presents NIS Classics Volume 3: La Pucelle: Ragnarok / Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure Deluxe Edition - Nintendo Switch

I feel this is the best way to play Rhapsody and LPT in the present day. I like having bonus characters in LPT. I wish there were even more of them included, like they do with Disgaea. The soundtrack CD included left me VERY disappointed, as it's a "selection" CD, and while the Rhapsody portion was ok, with LPT many of the songs they selected were... awful. The included art book is cute. As far as the games themselves go: 5 stars. I hope they one day do a localization of Rhapsody sequels (Little Princess, and Angel's Present). Make it happen, NISA.

I play Rhapsody with my young Daughters and read the dialog in different voices for them. They love it. The story and gameplay are simple, and the graphic style is endearing. I have always been interested in Atlus games, and they are the company that published Rhapsody when it originally came out on PS1 in the late 90's. The original game on PS1 has gotten quite expensive, so I looked for an alternative and found this. Great price on Amazon, and as far as I'm concerned La Pucelle is an added bonus.

This came all there (case, game cart) brand new, but also with an OST CD & fancy artbook. For 2 retro games in one this was a steal.

Rhapsody is amazing, but for one glaring issue. The dungeons suck. I mean really suck. They all look basically identical, and they are just lazy corridors leading to other lazy corridors. There is no map either, which makes them extra suck. However, if you can overlook that, you will be treated to an amazing cast of loveable characters, a great soundtrack, and a fun story. You collect puppets to help you in battle, and the main ones even have little side stories you can do to sort of help them "pass on". You'll see, its kind of fun and even emotional sometimes. I'm not going to spoil anything, but the ending to this one for real made my cry. It was an absolute tear jerker for me the first time, and I still kind of tear up a bit even after beating the game a bojillion times. Just get it.

These games are classics, and they still hold up today. Very fun, humorous, and unique RPGs. It’s awesome to have them physically on the Switch.

Ordered the Switch collectors edition form the NIS store. The release of La Pucelle Ragnarok and now being uncencored is probably my gaming high point this year, except I can't finish the game because it crashes fight after Albijwaz battle. I hope a patch is coming as soon as possible.

英語版のマール王国の人形姫ミュージカルが見たかったので購入。 最新FWにした日本語のSwitch本体なら動作しました。比較用に未アップデートのSwitchLITEも持ってますがそちらでは動作しなかったので本体のアップデートは必要な模様。 人形姫2も英語版ミュージカルなら欲しいけど、こちらは英語の歌が入っているという表記が見当たらないので悩む。

2 classic games by NIS. Still great plays years later. Art booklet and music CD are a lovely bonus I wasn't expecting much of. I do have a small collection (around 30) of game music on CD, gladly added this one.
