It was perfect fit, even had same model numbers on new battery as old.
This was the perfect batter for the HP OMEN - 17-an053nr - had the same model numbers on it as the original. been working perfectly.

Poor Battery
Installed what I thought was a new battery and noticed the battery icon on the computer had an “X” across it. The battery worked for about 3 days and died. Does not hold a charge. Beware… this just may have been a reconditioned battery that was sold as new. But there was an issue on my laptop that a battery was on its way out, then the battery icon disappeared showing it completely died. Don’t waste your time with this one.

YOU MUST OPEN YOUR CURRENT LAPTOP AND SEE HOW MANY PINS ARE IN THE CONNECTOR CABLE END.Pros:Medium Level Complexity for install. (I needed a flathead screwdriver to open my HP laptop). It worked
The battery looked exactly like the one I removed from my laptop. It fit perfectly and began charging as soon as i plugged it in. I received the order fairly quickly and after watching an installation video on YouTube. I was good to go. We will see how it performs over time but for now I am a happy camper.

not clear how many pins
nothing wrong with the actual battery, but I didn't think to read past all those numbers to see that it said 12 pins. gonna return and buy the 16 pin one, so no problem, but I think they should put how many pins it has near the front so it isn't buried by everything else

Defective Product
Only indicating 1 star, because you can't indicate 0 stars! Absolutely a scam! This item was installed into my computer by a professional technician, and within 4 weeks - it was "dead". Waste of money!
