SAE-2000D V.3 Monoblock 2000W RMS Digital Class D Amplifier SAEv3-2000D

I bought this amp about a year ago and it’s already broken. I’m running it at 2ohms on 2x 8inch CTC woofers. Randomly if you try to give it any power it kicks into protection mode or will randomly cut out for a few seconds than come back. Not to also mention the fan just started making a clicking sound. DO NOT BUY THIS AMP.

I have it mounted on the bottom of the rear deck in the trunk of my 2015 Toyota Corolla s hooked up to 2 sundown 2ohm 10" shallow mount subs running at 2 ohms in a kerf separate chamber/shared port box and it pounds hard. I've gotten 108.7 dbs from the driver seat with the back left seat folded down and I can turn it up but I don't need to. It seemed to get hot so I installed a fan wired to the remote wire and haven't had a problem although it wasn't a problem before, I was just being cautious. It's not bulky or heavy. It's easy to mount and and hide if that's your goal. Connectors seem solid, I used 4 gauge ofc for power and high inputs from rear speakers. My lights dimmed a little when it hit so I added a 2.5 farad cap and that's solved. It's perfect for what I wanted, I highly recommend this amp. Time will tell how long it lasts.

My setup 15inch sundown. Now The 2000 Watt sundown audio Amp worked great an hit hard for about a week and then it popped protection and now every time it’s a little loud, it pops and it goes into surge mode an it doesn’t work near as well as it did when i first got it. . This was annoying over priced just for sundown name I really did expect better of them . Do not waste your time on this app. Go buy another one. I paid $150 for a 3000W mono block amp work fine.

Amp came had no problems been a couple months still no problems has never went into protect mode once

As soon as I hooked it up the power light came on fine then I started playing music and it went straight into protect mode. So I hooked my other amp back up and it played perfectly fine I believe it was due to voltage and I just do not have a consistent 14.4v like most sundown amps require

It's finicky install 0 gauge wire and it will work just fine, very powerful amp.

I hooked it up worked for 2 minutes then just cutt out no protective mode light just the power with no output I tried everything replaced the wires made sure my ground was good I even hooked another amp up to the wires and speakers and everything was fine but when I took the sundown amp and put it in a system I know works nothing happened but the green light I'm confused pretty sure this amp is bad
