These sleeves were exactly what I hoped they would be. I purchased them for arm protection while doing some tree and underbrush clearing and they were perfect. They protected me from cuts and scratches, were comfortable for all day wear and were not hot at all. I will say they did not protect very well from the sharp pokey leaves of the Agarita bush but my gloves didn’t even protect from that. Made the pokes less severe but still the bush poked through. I highly recommend these sleeves for great arm protection while doing anything that will scratch or cut you. You can’t go wrong. And priced right too.

Very easy to put on with minimal to no discomfort. Most importantly, they are extremely effective preventing your arms from abrasions. With my age has become very thin skin, which I found constantly getting bleeding cuts and scratches. Worked with these for over 3 hours in a very scratchy garden and finished without inflicting any more wounds.

Great arm protection. Long enough & no punchers with trimmings my rose bushes. Only complaint is the straps to tighten at the top of arm are too big for my arms. Sleeves are ok after pulled on over my shirt sleeves.

I bought them because I work at a dog grooming shop washing dogs. They will often jump up or scratch my arms and I wanted something to protect them. They have worked very well so far, no scratches or marks on my arms.

It looks and feel like a quality product. Fits is good. It’s a little snug around bicep but expands well. This keeps it from slipping down. It also helps if you tuck T-shirt sleeve under the product. It is a little loose around the forearms making it comfortable on hot muggy days. I took a hit from a hungry hen today which resulted in a minor bump and no laceration. The real test would be a spur penetration hit which I’ve had many. I would like a plastic shield for the back of the hand. It’s would be for spur kicks and branch scratching. I can make the shield with a plastic coffee can lid and just slip it in.

As an older person who takes blood thinner, this is a required item for me to have as a gardener. They keep my hands from getting all cut up and scratched up when I’m working with my roses or other plants that have a rough texture.

Bought these to protect my old arms from getting bruised up working on the bottom of car seat while installing seat covers. After the first set was installed I counted about 10 bruises on my forearms after digging around in the seat springs and heater boxes and other power seat mechanics. Now that I have these protectors I got no bruises dining the second car!! Downside to these is the Velcro attachments that circle around the upper arm to keep them from sliding down The attachment is about a 1 1/2" wide prickly side velcro strip that is sewn on the outside of the protector. The softer piece is like a strap that completes going around the upper arms and sticks to the sticky part. Problem is the Velcro is about a 1/4" from the top and the fabric above the strip rolls up when worn, allowing the prickly Velcro to rub on the skin. Both sides are the same. Really irritates the skin. I've asked the wife to remove both of the sticky Velco pieces and move them down about an inch or so, so the Velco doesn't contact the upper arm skin. If I had it to do over, I would have selected a pair that weren't held up with stiff Velco. YMMV FOLLOW-UP: just received an e-mail from the sender in response to my review. Expressed they were sorry for any problems I had with the product and offered a refund. Did not ask me to change the review like the AMZ sellers, but I was glad to see the vendor reads reviews and tries to make things right. After the wife's sewing skills remanufactured the gloves, they fit great and I wouldn't want to take advantage of the seller's good will. Will not be taking them up on the offer, but would definitely do business with them again!!

Lightweight and not too hot but provide more than adequate protection for my arm. I only wear one so the 4 pack provides me plenty of guards for the price.
