Check the vid! Love ernie ball and their 9s are sick
The media could not be loaded. Awesome strings.Always used ernie balls. From their 9s, 10s, 11s to now their paradigms.I got a fresh set on before this show in the clip, check it out, sounds decent!FYI that guitar is a budget hartwood semi acoustic hallow body whammy and it's awesome. Check it out.I get some decent use of these and I'm a heavy player too typically and they're hard to break, I can't remember the one I broke actually before restringing is due!Nice warmth, color, tone, durable, resistant, just overall great brand and great strings. And reasonably priced too.

Great feel and sound – big upgrade from old strings
Put these on my second-hand SG and the difference was night and day. The old ones were dull and rough — these felt smoother straight away and brought the guitar back to life. Brighter sound, better feel, and more comfortable to play. They’re the usual bright silver nickel colour, look clean on the guitar, and have a nice even finish. The 10–46 gauge is just right for standard tuning — not too stiff, not too light — and they’ve held tuning well after a bit of stretching.Easy upgrade. I’ll buy them again.

Great value for a market leader
I have Ernie Ball 10-54s on my Epi 60s Standard Les Paul. I generally prefer light to medium strings (I have a Strat with 9-42s and a Casino with 11-49s), but the thicker gauge in the low end give the Les Paul a huge, warm, dark tone when played clean, while the lighter strings in the top end allow for bends. Once you get the hang of the transition between the D and the G, it feels very natural. If I only played fast rock stuff on this guitar I might use lighter strings overall, but I don’t. And I also play bass, so thick strings don’t bother me.Great strings: great tone, durable and not expensive.

Sound awesome
Ode to the Strings That RoaredFor my son, his Slinkys, and the sound of rebellionI bought him a pack, green as young fire,Ernie Ball Slinkys — his heart’s true desire.Nickel-wound wonders, tight coils of might,Strung on his Strat like the fuse to a light. They shimmer and bend with a devilish grin,Summoning Sabbath from deep down within.Metallica marches from under his door,Each power chord shaking the frame and the floor. He cranks up his amp till the walls start to hum,While I grin from the hallway — here comes the drum.Though his mum shouts upstairs with a scowl on her brow,“Turn that racket down!” (He’s not listening now.)But I hear more than volume, distortion and fuzz —I hear dreams being forged like hot metal does. With fingers that blister, with sweat and with soul,He’s chasing his heroes, he’s finding his role.So let those Slinkys wail, let the solos be wild,For there’s something electric in watching your childMake noise, make art, make the silence retreat —With strings that scream life and a thunderous beat.
