Unless you're a public library, this bookshelf will hold up for years to come. Well built and attractive (though I could do without the big "Hon" metal label on the front which is okay for office use but not at home.) Fast, well-packaged shipping and very minimal assembly required!

I wanted a strong bookcase to hold my law books. Something that will not collapse in a year. This metal bookcase fits the bill. It’s a little bit more costly than those made of particle boards, but you save the money from keeping to replace them as they collapse or bend. Also, it comes assembled so you don’t need to deal with missing parts or read an incomprehensible diagram or instructions.

It's not fancy looking but it sure holds a lot of books and is plenty stable. I put the heavier books on the bottom. I got mine from Shoplet through Amazon marketplace and it was delivered quickly. Perfectly packed. Well cushioned caps top and bottom with each edge well cushioned. it was easy to unpack. Leaving the bottom cap on makes it easy to slide around and position on carpet to where you want to place it. Sure was nice not to have the hassle of putting together one of those short-lived particle board pieces of junk that I have been buying. Keep in mind that it's a little heavy and somewhat awkward to handle so you might need a little help placing it.

Sturdy cabinet. Worth 5 stars if delivered in better shape. As is 1 star is plenty.

I am using the bookshelf for binder storage- I needed a lot more room. This cabinet provides the room. It is not super heavy duty, but it holds what I need it to. I have the 6 shelf model, so it is tall and must be secured to the wall, especially if you are in an area where earthquakes are a possibility. It arrived in excellent shape and works for me.The shelves are easy to adjust if you read the directions.

I like how lightweight the bookcase is and the clean lines. It came damaged- there were scratches where the paint came off and tiny pieces of the styrafoam packaging got into the metal seams and I haven't been able to get it out. Overall an ok rating.

This item appears to be a very strong product and well-made. I haven’t really put anything heavy on the adjustable shelf. But be very careful where you put this the edges are very sharp and I scratch myself. ( seriously ) before I moved it to a different spot.
