This is just the case that the circuit board fits into. Bought as a replacement for a 2012 Corvette key fob. All buttons work as expected. Original key fit properly , so no need to get the new blank cut. Good fit and finish. This is slightly longer than OEM version. It also lacks the dimple on the back which would hold a brand medallion. Seller, please update your product photos. Overall, good value.

2008 CorvetteJust a friendly reminder to any other customers to read the description. This key fob is just a shell. It’s exactly what I needed. While swapping out the battery on the OEM fob, I snapped off the clips that was holding it together. Thus, the fob wouldn’t closed and my key kept falling out of the fob. I didn’t want to go through the hassle of programming and looked for alternatives. I came across this on a whim and bought. It was a simple process that just requires you to remove the old motherboard to this new fob.

The first one worked as advertised. Bought a second one and it works also. Good experience.

I needed something to get me by and this did the trick. Its not great but its pretty good and that will work for now.

I had a fob for my 2013 C6 Corvette that was cracked and actually missing a piece of the case. I ordered two of these and just swapped out the guts of one. I checked and every button works as it should. The case seems to be an exact replica of the original. I took the little screw out of the manual key and swapped that out too so I don't have to take it to a dealer and have the blank cut to fit the Vette. All in all I'm very happy with this purchase and would do it again. I think it is a great value. Thanks.

It works for proximity, but does not seem to work for the rear hatch, or locking my ride. I will take it apart again, align things, replace he battery again just in case that may be an issue. It does NOT need re-programming, because you use your old board, or whatever it's called.

Easy to put together and works well.

The key fob case does NOT have the recessed portion on the back for the vehicle emblem like Corvette which was why I bought it. The advertisement is false. Do Not Buy.
