Not compatible with the S&W shield out of the box
This red dot is described as compatible with the optics ready S&W shield , however the screws provided with the red dot are too wide/thick for the S&W shield. The screws that are holding the cover plate are too short as well.

Crisp and clear, wow!
Shield sights dot is impressive, clear and scrip. Better than any others I’ve tried and I’m an accomplished shooter having owned Trijicon, holosun and others. They fit my G17 better as they’re .5mm more narrow than the rmr. The dot is great in low light and adjusts super fast. I’m a fan.
