I bought this for a new MacBook Pro as I now frequently find myself using it in areas where people are casually walking behind me. While I don't generally do banking or anything sensitive in that situation, it is nice that I can read email or messages without any snooping eyes. This was packed well - despite USPS doing their best to try and bend it - it arrived in great shape. It fit perfectly as described. Very easy to line up and install, no issues with any warping or bubbling, although you do really need to clean the screen well before install. It looks exactly as described and the screen disappears in the off angles like it is supposed to. I did not use the camera cover that was supplied - I had an unused on from a previous product purchase that I had already installed, it it appeared to be high quality and compatible with the camera system on the latest MacBooks. I'm very impressed and would buy this again in the future without hesitation.

I had to get this for school. It’s nice for privacy at coffee shops and such as well. It’s magnetic and just hangs on from the top so easy to take on and off.

I've used one of these for years. This one was for my new MacBook Air. The viewing angle is slim, providing maximum privacy. A few considerations: You'll possibly need to up your screen brightness in some cases. Probably not a huge concern, but if battery life is an issue, just be aware. The top is magnetic, the bottom has some sticky stuff that holds it in place. I tend to leave mine on all of the time, so it's a non-issue for me, but others may want it off to better experience the crispness of the display. The protector does dull the display, no real way around it. It's very usable still, but if I need to do detailed photoshop work, I take it off. Overall, I love this, the magnetic top makes it a breeze to keep on and take off. It's durable, too. Mine sits in by bag if and when I remove it.

As described & does exactly what I need it to. I was afraid the paper-like texture would be off-putting, but it’s actually really nice. Really helps with fingerprints and smudges, too; you can still see some, obviously, but they’re not nearly as distracting as on the shiny screen surface. Also helps cut down on glare off the screen. I only have to take a star off cuz installation was extremely frustrating for me. I’ll fully admit it was partially user error—I ended up wasting one of the films because I was trying so hard to get dust out from under it, that I really badly creased the film & it caused an even worse bubble than the dust did. But even putting on the second one was difficult, and I *still* creased/dented the film a tiny bit while peeling it back to get rid of a particularly awful dust bubble. Basically, you have to make sure you’re putting the protective film on in a completely 100% dust- & pet hair-free environment, because *something* is going to get underneath it and it is incredibly hard to get out. You have to peel the file back and try to quickly get rid of the offending dust or hair before more inevitably sneak under; you only have the provided “dust removal sticker” to work with and it’s just not strong enough to pick up particles that are already stuck on the sticky side; and you have to do this without creasing, bending, or denting the film, which is really easy to do when you’re trying to hold it back and press the dust removal sticker hard enough to actually get dust off of the film. I bite my nails really short and they still managed to dent the film enough that it’s got a perma-bubble. Tl;dr it’s functional, good quality, and does what’s promised, but installation is tricky unless you magically live somewhere without even a speck of dust and no pets.

This works excellent! Anyone sitting to your side will not be able to see the information on your screen. Only people sitting directly behind you will be able to read what is on your screen and if you turn down the display brightness it makes it more challenging for others to see your screen. It is magnetic and is easy to put on and off your screen as you need it.

I wanted to love this product but I didn't. It does the job of providing privacy but it doesn't stay attached well and you have to use tape to fix the bottom of the privacy screen to your Macbook. The provided tape doesn't stick very well either so you end up using regular tape instead. Given the seal isn't tight between the Macbook screen and privacy screen then all manner of debris gets stuck behind it. I found the privacy screen makes the Macbook screen look distorted too, especially at the bottom of the screen, creating blur which I was uncomfortable for my eyes after about 20 minutes.

I’ve never used a privacy screen before but I was going on a work trip and felt it would be worth getting a privacy screen for working in public places. It arrived in perfect condition. I love that it’s magnetic on the top and it fits perfectly. It’s more thick than I thought but in a good way. It feels quite durable. It came with some things to stick it onto the screen as well as some cloths and a folder for traveling. I plan to only use it as a privacy screen so I don’t think I’ll actually stick it onto my computer as a long term screen protector but I feel it would be just fine for that! It dims the screen slightly but that’s kind of the point since it needs to hide the screen past a certain angle. It’s easy to wipe down with a dry cloth to get dust off. It looks nice on the computer since you can’t really tell anything is there. It feels durable and I’m confident it’ll last a long time. I’ve been using the plastic folder/sleeve to bring it with me. I just put it in the laptop slot of my backpack right behind the laptop itself. I did close it with the screen protector on just to see the gap other reviewers have mentioned. I think it’s so thin, it couldn’t be any thinner without sacrificing quality so the tiny gap didn’t bother me, however, since I didn’t use the adhesive, I needed to make sure the bottom part of the privacy screen (closer to the keyboard) didn’t fan out and get bent or stuck. But again, I plan to just use this by itself so I just end up taking the privacy screen off and putting it in the folder when I’m done using my MacBook. I’ve attached photos from the side angles and a video which shows the side views, then vertical (looking down towards the keyboard) and then right in front of the screen. You’ll see that there isn’t any privacy from a vertical point of view but the sides look completely dark! I would recommend this! Pros: Durable, high quality for the price Comes with adhesive, cloths, and a folder Fits like a glove against the MacBook Pro 14” M2 Pro (A2779) Cons: I wish it could protect vertically and from a distance. The privacy only works on the sides. It’d be great to have something that can also protect from someone behind or above you. Please give this a try— you’ll likely find that it suits your needs as long as you’re aware of all the features!

Perfect fit. Very nice matte screen protector film. The texture’s a little bit rough and it really feels like you’re writing on paper. I’m removing one star just because they said in the description that it can filter blue light. However, when I tested it using my blue light tester kit, it failed. Blue light totally passed through so it’s just a regular matte film. But it’s a good quality film, feels thick, seems durable. Very easy to install. No bubbles.

Recently got a new iPad and I was researching good paper-like screen protectors could use, I’ve heard many matte screen protectors tend to disorientate the screen and are too grainy. I needed one that wouldn’t take away from the original bright screen of the iPad and still would feel like paper. Originally I was going to purchase the Bersem paper-like protector but then this brand caught my eye and looked promising. I am so glad I went with this decision this is genuinely the protector I was looking for. Feels EXACTLY like paper, and it’s not too harsh on the pencil nib and doesn’t feel like straight-up sandpaper. For $8.99, this delivers excellent quality and fulfills its promises. Installation was a little tricky but definitely not hard if you’ve installed screen protectors before, it comes with all the stickers and things you need so nothing is required for set-up. The bubbles were so easy to get rid of and the screen went on smoothly, the screen is still bright and once you begin writing on it, you’ll never want to stop! Definitely go for this one, I’m glad I stumbled upon this brand, I saved so much money and am very satisfied with my purchase!

The screen is extremely useful except the corner of the screen (the part without magnet) comes up. the instruction say there is washable gel tabs provided. Yet.. its not in the package
