This is a great starter kit for Macrame beginners. There is a booklet with some basic knots, patterns are not included, however, you can Google easy beginner Macrame patterns for great ideas. I did this for plant hangers, so far I have made 3 nice plant hangers with different designs each, and still have enough for several more. I am impressed by the quality and the starter items included in this kit for the price. Great for creative kids, retired parents or grandparents, or for special projects for 4H. It's a great way to have some family projects for the summer or to make gifts for friends and family. I combined my order with a 6pk of round unfinished wood circles to place plants on, the plant hangers I made can also be used without as it will hold a 6" potted plant with beauty and ease.

I love it it's a perfect beginner kit

So I just recently became interested in macramé and thought I would purchase this kit to get started. It contained everything I needed for a small project and now I’m obsessed. Loved it so much. I purchased one for my daughter-in-law for her birthday. This is a great beginners kit.

I’ve been wanting to dabble in macrame but never knew where to start. This kit had just enough little bits to get me started before I decided to scavenge for sticks around the property for the ultimate boho look. All of the dowels and beads were nicely finished, no splinters there. The instructions were pretty simple to follow. Once I figured out what the knots looked like it was really easy to find examples online that I could copy just by appearance. Had no idea macrame would be that easy!

I love the set. It's is a complete set, especially for beginners.

Has alot of pieces but for a beginner I wouldn't recommend itas it gives no specific project instructions.
