TAKAVU 1-Pack Car Ashtray, Detachable Stainless Lid, LED & Lighter (Silver)

I’ve only been using this product for about a week but so far so good. For me, it’s the perfect size ashtray, fits in my car’s cupholder perfectly. I like the pop-up lid by pressing the button. You can’t tell by the video because it’s daytime but at night the little blue light is bright enough for you to see it clearly. My favorite feature is the built-in lighter and the fact that it comes with a recharging cord. The cord has a a “micro USB plug” (similar to the charging cords that use on an Android/Samsung phone), it plugs directly into the ashtray and the other end of the cord is a regular USB plug, which most vehicle’s have a USB port built in but if not, you can always just use a regular charging block. All in all, for the price, I think it’s definitely worth the money. 👍👍👍

Omg! Game changer! This ash tray has been amazing! I work out of my vehicle. The built in lighter has been wondrous. No more digging in door handles, routing around in pockets, or reaching around in center consoles. It fits wonderfully in my car's cup holders. I even have a few aftermarket cup holders it sits quite happily in. Having the flip top has helped with the "old cigarettes" smell and honestly the flip top is not as inconvenient as I thought it would be. The light in the lid is just enough to get a quick glance when driving at night and know I'm going to get my ashes in the tray. It's not distracting either. It's no brighter than the glow from the instrument panel or the radio. The top twists off easily. I can dump it in the trash when I get home, give it a good wipe out and it is ready to go for the next day. The whole top comes off too so you don't have to fight the flip top to get in and clean it. I haven't submerged it, but all the electronics(lighter, charger, light etc) seem to be in the top so I don't see why it couldn't be. I've also been digging around for files in my car and knocked it over. The lighter did fall out of the top but the flip lid held tight and it didn't dump ashes all over my car. Only complaint I would have about this ash tray is the flip lid is not spring loaded. You have to press the button and tilt it up. That's not a big deal if you're stationary but may be cumbersome while driving depending on your dexterity. I would highly suggest this ash tray for anyone who spends a lot of time in their vehicle.

Used to drive a Taurus station wagon with the shift on the column and tons of room in the center console. Had 4 cup holders. Alas, it got old and demised, and I got a Toyota crossover with an awkwardly-placed, weirdly-shaped shift that eats up most of the center space and took me down to only 2 cup holders with no real extra space to put an ashtray, something I didn't consider when I bought it. Because the shift area bulges out over the center and creates a shadow, it's not only pitch black in the center while driving at night, but I kept hitting the shift area with the end of my cigarette trying to tap into the ashtray in the dark. Not wanting to damage my new car, I hunted around and found this ashtray. It plugs into what used to be the lighter's spot (cars don't come with those, or ashtrays, any more) and the charging cord is more than long enough. Due to the no room in the center situation, I kept its packing twist-tie on it, and it still reaches a cup holder. Its height prevents me from squeezing it into the little bit of space under the bulge. It has a cyan low glow around the rim so that you can see exactly where to tap ash. Perfect! Just what I was looking for. There's a little lighter fitted into the exterior top of the lid as well. I honestly didn't realize it had one when I ordered it, so that was a sweet little perk. It's not anywhere near as large of a hot spot as your standard car lighter used to be, that area doesn't glow, it's flush with the lid and needs a bit of fumbling to get off, and the lid has to be down in order to get at it. So it's something I only use when the car is stationery or someone else is driving. Its placement would've been better off either on the inside of the lid or on the outer side wall rather than the top, and had its own glow to see it, and made a little more easier to get it off to use, because you really can't be fumbling around with that when you're trying to drive. It also has a very small spot inside off the rim where you're meant to stub out your cigarette. That could've been quite a bit wider, because you have to have really good aim as that hasn't got its own glow, either. I end up doing it by touch if I'm driving (I'm not one of those jerks who hurls butts into the slipstream). It's quite a bit taller than I thought it would be when ordering. I could easily get more than a pack's worth of butts in there if I wanted to be lazy and not empty it for a long time. But its height does mean it's a pain to save a half-smoked cigarette in it because it drops to the bottom and has to be dredged out. The outside just wipes clean and stays shiny. I haven't cleaned the inside because I'm pretty sure I shouldn't be submersing anything electronic. Hey, it's an ashtray, and it has a lid to cover up any ash that remains when it gets emptied. Overall, it seems pretty sturdy, and it serves its primary purpose - keeping me from ashing everywhere but the ashtray in the dark in a car with an annoying design flaw in its center. I've had it about a year and the cyan glow keeps glowing. For its higher price, I hope it keeps glowing for many years to come. If/when it doesn't, I'll try to remember to come back and update with how long it lasts.

It's actually pretty and functional. The light on the inside is super handy. I always lose my lighter at the worst time so having one built in that is also removable is a game changer. It seals tight when closed so no smell leaks out and I can easily fit it under the seat and out of sight when needed. It doesn't spill!! Easy to empty, perfect size. Love it.

The two items on the picture make you think there's two in a pack, its very misleading, and I know the seller knows that, I like the product so far, but I don't like deceitfulness. Go anywhere, please stop it, its not right, there's only one in the pack. 3 stars only

Love the ashtray. Not a super fan of lighter. After charging the lighter it, I had to hit the button like six times to get anything lit. Other than that, everything else is perfect.

Great during fire season. This is a car ash container, sure, but I bought this for smoking outdoors in my yard and while camping in dry weather. It's small, light, portable and durable, and I can contain ash and butts without worrying. Securely closes, so you can easily stub out your butts and contain them. Contains the smell, too. So kind for neighbors and fellow campers. I borrowed a friend's for a recent camping trip and it worked great, so I immediately bought one for myself as soon as I got home. Really pleased with this purchase. Would definitely buy it again.

Arrived ontime in excellent condition, exactly what I was looking for, this ashtray looks great. Highly recommend this one if you are looking for a vehicle ashtray.

Awesome product, and really cool! The model i purchased had a lighter ontop with no analog time - but the feature that allows you to charge through USB is awesome. Recommended buy if this is something you're looking for, especially for such a good price!
