Brightup Beard Trimmer for Men - Electric Razor & Shaver

I bought this trimmer as a gift for my husband about three years ago, and he’s been very happy with it ever since. It still works well, and comes with all the attachments he needs for beard, hair, nose, and body grooming. The blades cut cleanly without pulling, and the waterproof design makes it easy to rinse and clean after use. For the price, it’s been an excellent value and has held up much better than we expected. It’s one of those gifts that has actually been used regularly for years. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable all-in-one grooming kit.

This electric beard and mustache trimmer works really well but after a while the silver starts chipping away and gets all over you and is almost impossible to get off of your skin. Hopefully they can make adjustments to fix this!

I’ve purchased this grooming kit twice, which probably says more than anything else I could write! It has a great variety of attachments, is easy to use, holds a charge well, and does a great job trimming and grooming. I especially like having everything together in one kit instead of several different tools cluttering up the bathroom. For the price, I’ve been very impressed with the quality and how well it has held up. I wouldn’t have purchased it a second time if the first one hadn’t done its job! Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a versatile, convenient grooming set. Would buy again... apparently I already did! 😂 Needed one for each bathroom!

UPDATE: I submitted a warranty complaint to the company via their website. Hazel from BrightenUp support team replied very quickly. After a day or two of correspondence, they had compensated me for the broken trimmer - since I am unable to receive a replacement product as I am on the road outside the USA for a long time. Customer Service: 5 Product (functionality and features): 5 Durability and Quality: 0 ************ It broke after 4th time using it. I used it 4 times in 2.5 months. I bought it because it has a USB recharging cable and thus great for world travel. It broke before I even needed to recharge it, at 57% battery life. I bought it in the US and am traveling indefinitely in Europe/World. It charges and locks, but won't turn on. I've submitted a warranty claim on their website. I want it replaced (but I'm traveling) or my money back. I was suspect of the cheap plastic power button. And I clearly had reason.... Shame, because I really liked it. It holds a great charge, it locks, it's lightweight, it cuts all hair with ease (head, face, body) and I like the global USB recharging capability. Nearly perfect - but the quality seemed too cheap, especially the power button (indication of its lightweight perhaps). Broke after 4 uses. Dejected.

I have had a beard for much of my adult life, and I turn 70 in a few months. I told my son on one occasion that “you gotta keep em guessing”, which meant trying to surprise people with what you might do next. For my son that meant shaving his head to reduce drag while competing in swim meets. Although he was mocked when he showed up at school the next day, all of his teammates came to school the following day with (you guessed it) shaved heads as well. For me, I have frequently altered my facial hair. And because I have a fast growing beard, I can alter it if I have the right trimmer. I can be Father Time one day, Santa 🎅 the next. Then the GQ overnight stubble followed by a mustache and goatee with variable lengths. It has been fun to “keep ‘em guessing” even at my age. I have found the Brightup Trimmer capable of doing all the things I can imagine. It has 2 speeds and several heads that provide the nuanced type of trimming required. It includes nose hair and ear attachments, a body hair trimmer and a bunch of various length combs. It also comes with a little shaver that works great for those stray hairs for finishing the job. But I am impressed most with hefty weight of the trimmer head itself. It’s like a commercial grade tool. I have used half a dozen different trimmers over the years. What they had in common was that they were all flimsy and lightweight, and lacked the durability that you can feel with the Brightup Trimmer. Give it try. They guarantee it. You may even enjoy “keeping them guessing”, too.

Works great and is nice, but won't charge unless it's almost out of battery. For some reason, it will only charge if it's at about 20 percent battery. Any more than that and it won't charge

First of all, I have never written a review before. I had to make an exception in this case. I bought the trimmer 7 months ago. I was happy with it, although changing the attachments is a little weird and you have to be careful not to break anything. Once you get the hang of it, it's not too bad. I don't use the trimmer all that much, but the charge on the battery lasted 6 months. When I went to charge it, the non standard USB cord was very hard to plug in to the trimmer and nothing happened after I pushed it in as hard as I could. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it had a 12 month warranty. I called the provided number and it went to voicemail. Since I also had an email address, I decided to email them rather than leave a message. Before I was even able to start writing I received a call from Support. I was told they would send a replacement out after I provided the necessary information. Within a couple days, I get a package from Amazon. It was just the trimmer itself, no attachments, but that was fine. I plugged it in and the same result - bad fit and no charge. About a week later I received a follow-up email from Support and I informed them the situation, but I told them I wasn't going to worry about it anymore. I few days later, I received a complete trimmer package in the sealed box. This time the plug was a much better fit and it charged as expected. It's extremely rare to experience good, let alone outstanding customer service these days. I could not have had a better experience in this case. I recommend this trimmer for this reason alone. Of course, you can't trim a beard with good customer service, but I found the trimmer itself to be well made out of solid materials. Yes, the attachments are a little wonky, but workable, and hopefully the original unit I got was old stock with the poor fitting USB cable. I like the sold feel of the unit and the many attachment options, all at a resonable price.

It is a great product considering the range of utilities you get to do ,also it has a great value for money . Greatly recommended!!

Great product. Admittedly, I've only used this product once, as I only bought it a week ago, but so far, I've been very impressed. The clippers feel good in your hand and the bright digital display makes it easy to see how much battery power is left. Great selection of heads, (some of which I'll probably never use), allowed me to have a clean and precise beard trim. I also used it to trim my private area, and once again I was very impressed. I've used a couple of products before, and this one has managed to give me the closest trim I've ever had, with the the least amount of damage. The one nick I did give myself, was entirely my own fault. I was confident enough to use it with my weaker hand at one point. It's supplied with a nice shelf type thing to store the clippers and attachments, however, it seems to me that there aren't enough spaces for the attachments, but if that's my only complaint, it's a minute one. Overall, this MIGHT possibly be the best clippers set I've ever used, (I'd have to use them more than once to definitively say),I would highly recommend them.

Das Brightup FK-8688T Herren Bartschneider-Set ist sehr vielseitig und deckt alle Bereiche von Bart, Gesicht, Nase, Ohren und Körper ab. Die verschiedenen Aufsätze sind praktisch und ermöglichen eine präzise Pflege. Besonders gefällt mir, dass das Gerät wasserdicht ist (IPX7), was die Reinigung erleichtert. Der Akku hält ausreichend lange, könnte aber etwas leistungsstärker sein. Insgesamt ein solides Trimmer-Set, das seinen Zweck gut erfüllt!
