I love this veggie and fruit peeler. I had to peal and cut all the apples from my tree this year and usually it takes days but this peeler cut my time down to hours. My daughter quickly learned to use it and she peeled while I cleaned them up and cut them. It does leave some peel on the top and bottom that needs to be cleaned up and around any bruises or odd spots but still was quicker than peeling myself. I also tried spiralizing some apple after it was peeled and it didn’t work perfectly but I got some that I was able to fry up quickly with cinnamon and sugar for a tasty snack. I also used it to peel sweet potatoes for dinner and it worked pretty good. Only problem was that they were old so the outer peels got a little papery and ended up clogging up the blade. But it was easy to pop apart and clean quickly. I washed the base spikes regularly so the sticky juice didn’t build up and make it harder to clean later. It’s very lightweight and I wonder how long it will last but I’m loving it right now, especially for the reasonable cost.

I have nothing but the best things to say about this product. It is amazing. I reviewed this product on my YouTube channel. And I absolutely love it now. It can peel potatoes and fruit with less dense skin. So if you are trying to peel like a lemon or an orange, it's not going to work, but for vegetables or fruit with less dense skin your fruit will come out peeled to perfection, the fruit will be smooth. The skin will be minimal, so you have more vegetable and fruit for consumption.And it's just awesome , what can I say

It works beautifully!! Saves tons of time! Easy to use; much safer than using a knife to peel; there’s very little cleanup; and it allows me to multitask and work on other foods while it does the peeling. It allows ‘preserves’ much more of the flesh of fruit/vegetable than peeling with a knife or manual peeler.

I DON'T USUALLY REVIEW PURCHAES BUT THIS ONE I LOVE. ALTHOUGH IT IS LIGHT WEIGHT, IT PERFOORMS EXACTLY AS IT IS PRESENTED AND I GIVE IT AN EXCELLENT RECOMMENDATION.

I make a lot of apple desserts and I make potatoes every day. Every potato for every dish MUST be peeled and I hate peeling things. This thing is very light weight and seems fragile but has worked well so far. One terrifying moment happened when I grabbed it out of the cupboard and plugged it in still holding it and the red button had been in the on switch and it started running and nearly got my finger. Don't be in a hurry or lazy- get it out, set it up on the counter, and with hands OFF plug it in. Everything but the blade is plastic but the spikes work well, there's a fine line between being significantly on, not on enough, and dangerous to the fruit or tuber if not on enough. When you're doing one potato or one apple, it's a novelty. When you are doing a bunch, it's annoying. To adjust the death spike from above you have to reach around the back (and not in a lefty-inclined way) to pinch things together to raise it up, you have to then use both hands separately to then swing/move and raise the blade. It is not a smooth/effortless/mindless activity over and over again. How it functions: It typically (on a potato) misses the very top in such a way that a single scoop and pass with a peeler will take care of it. It feels like you're setting up an old record player needle, and it makes a sickening/startling click when it finally engages when you don't do it right (always). On smaller potatoes it seems to slow at the waist or 3/4 to the bottom and it takes a little more then it needs to. Once the potato width is narrowing to the bottom, the blades says "yeah, I'm outta here" and slips off sneakily but keeps descended to trick you and then stops and then you see that you have to make a few passes with the peeler anyway. You're also responsible for any eyes/knots. With apples it performs even worse, it skips the whole top, jumps around when trying to get started, does one ring around, skips a few strips, does the side, then when it gets near the bottom "keeps going" without cutting. Will I still use it? Yes. There is still noticeably less waste. I peeled 5 lbs of red potatoes by hand, and made the machine do 5 lbs of red (and I finished the edges etc). Then I weighed the refuse before I dumped it in the compost (by that I mean the wooded bank where I grow some peppers and potatoes. The hand-peeled pile weighed almost half as much. It saves time in the end but it's the opposite of a hands off procedure so there's very little you can accomplish other than just standing there feeding and removing. It's not a kitchenaid mixer where you can run the gauntlet and go outside for a few minutes (though I usually end up hearing the crazy splashing of the butter finally forming and having to run back in out of breath). Because it was inexpensive and because I used amazon reward points for it, it's staying in my kitchen.

it works just fine. The wire could burn out. Check the power numbers. I burned my wire, but it works with battery.

I bought my first rotato peeler on Amazon.com and had it shipped over as I hate peeling potatoes. It is now available on Amazon.co.uk and I bought another for my sister. It is brilliant, easy to use and does the job in half the time. Notc restricted to potatoes, you can feel fruit too. Clean, un messy and then easy to keep clean. Comes with several more blades which I think extends the product life to a good twenty years.

Funktioniert gut bei weichen Sachen aber wenn es härter wird dann ist es nicht mehr so einfach
