Horrible SPLATTER-ing. Only 2 reasons possible according to forums - product not shaken well or product is old/defective in the packaging process. After the first splattering i shook the can till my arm hurt - about 3 mins, but still didnt solve the problem.

Hides Imperfect Technique pretty well - ends up looking a little glittery (which is awesome)
I was a victim of a DIY effort gone terribly wrong. I wanted a two tone silver and white desk and couldn't really find one in my price range. I did find a decent desk here on Amazon with plain white legs and a white edge, I figured I'd just spray paint it, no sweat and get the silver and chrome look I desired. That was a fiasco (to say the least). The chrome spray paint didn't adhere well and kept rubbing off and the spray paint could pool and drip - it looked a hot mess. I tell you all this to say my spray paint technique is pretty garbage.I decided to cover that mess with this "texturized" spray as a last ditch effort before throwing the whole desk on the curb. My spray painting technique is still garbage, but this paint is MUCH kinder in hiding errors. The texture makes the paint almost look like glitter and it hides bumps in the paint and drips much better than a smooth or shiny spray paint. I let it cure on the legs for 2 or 3 days. When I rubbed the paint, I didn't get any transfer and I even scratched it a little bit with my finger nail and it was fine. I did top it with a clear coat - just in case and it's still great. I'm really happy with how this came out. I'll give it an update in the future to determine how long lasting this is. All in all, I think this is great for us DIY novices.

Worked perfect for our project! Also saved a lot of money to redo our Chevy bowtie emblems on our Tahoe. My husband masked the emblems off & painted metallic black. Love it!

2nd time I've had a problem with the sprayer
Was super excited to use this product. Went to go spray on an outdoor chair and it literally sprays out in droplets. I thought maybe if I tried to clean the nozzle it would work but I was wrong and I ruined my chair by trying to wipe it off. I've ordered this brand before and this is the second time I've had a problem with it granted out of about 15cans. I get stuff like this happens but the thing I found so frustrating was I tried to contact the company and all I get is a busy signal everytime. I would of considered giving more stars if the company was able to fix the problem

Tricky, but worth the extra effort.
This stuff is not the same consistency as "normal" spray paint. It's much thicker, almost goopy. It takes a bit of practice to get the right coverage. I used this to redo the already deep brown trim on the aluminum siding of my ~40 year old motorhome. I added Rust-oleum's clear gloss as a topcoat. The glitter is pretty subtle on overcast days (see photo), but it packs a nice sparkly punch when the sun hits it just right. If you're patient and practice a bit on a scrap piece before using on your intended project, you should end up with good results.

Use up in one application
While this looks awesome when dry, with just the right amount of sparkle, I've used 4 cans of this and have learned a few things. 1) It starts out with a heavy spray, so try to go easy 2) If the can is only partly used, it will either not work at all when you use it a few weeks later or will come out in almost a stream (spalttery), even when the nozzle looks clear. 3) After dry and set, it changes color when in water, to a dull brown. 4) It seems impossible not to get it on your hands when using, so use gloves.
