I first bought these curtains back in 2021, They arrived within a reasonable time and have been on the same window ever since I got them. So far the sun has not faded them or worn down the fabric but to be fair and upfront in any variable that might affect this, I did put up reflective tint in the window about a year ago to get allow open curtains and maintain a certain preferred level of privacy. The tinting might have helped maintain the curtains color against sun bleaching. The color was true to the images provided I will say that my cat has left her mark on them so to speak as there are visible spots where her claws tried to pull at the curtain when it was closed to get them open enough to sit at the window and look out. If I had kept up with claw trimming, this probably wouldnt have been as much of an issue but I am just trying to give as much information as I can about the curtains. With that said, if you have cats, you might want to look for something thicker or just get your cat a tree or something else to sink its claws into. Even with the visible areas that my cat has gotten her claws stuck in the curtain trying to open it though, no light is seeping through those spots, you can just see some of the thread pulled out. They still do their job blocking out the sun very well in my opinion. I liked these curtains so much and they survived the test of time enough for me that I just bought another set a few days ago. It just got here today (ordered 48 hours ago) And I was as happy with these as I was with the original set that I got. The new set will actually be used as a partition curtain between my bedroom and living room (small apartment) to help block out living room light as I am up much earlier than my girlfriend is. in the ratings for these, "sheerness" was mentioned. I wasnt sure whether to give it 5 stars or 1 as you most definitely can not see through these curtains but that is one of the reasons that I wanted them in the first place. So if you are wanting a sheer curtain that you can see through... stop shopping for anything called a "black out" curtain because they are not what you are looking for. All in all these work for windows, they work for hallways or to cover doorways, they are a soft and pleasant material and I recommend them to anyone needing a black out curtain at a reasonable price (end note: I was not paid for this review nor is this review based off of any sort of free trial use of these curtains. I bought them, I like them, Im letting everyone else know to help them know the product is a good one)

So happy with this purchase! I bought 3 sets: one to cover a doorway, one to cover a closet and 1 to use on the windows. I am happy with ALL of them! Color: The color is beautiful! I had bought a set in gray years ago, but wanted to change things up so after painting the room I bought these in a lighter color, Natural. I was worried that the color may be off, but it is exactly what I wanted and expected. Texture: The curtains are thicker but not to terribly heavy. So soft to the touch. I should have placed them in the dryer to get out the creases before hanging, but I didn't. They still hang quite nicely. Blackout: I thought that the brightness from outside would come through because of the light color, but it really was better than my expectation. I live in Phoenix and the window faces north so I get all the sun in this room most of the day. Keeps the room dark and cool, even with the light color. It is not 100% blacked out, but it is much better than more expensive curtains i have tried. Easy to Install: i bought an Industrial style Curtain Rod so that they wrap around to cover the edges instead of open ends. The grommets just slid right over the rod, so easy. Smell: I did not notice any smell to them and like I said, I have 3 sets in 1 room. I may go back and actually purchase a lighter color since am confident that they will keep out a lot of the sunlight and will definitely purchase for other rooms. The price is excellent and the quality is exceptional! The photos were not retouched in any way to show how dark the room is. It is actually a bit darker because the camera auto adjusts a bit on my phone

Beautiful and perfect color for our room. It is 100% blackout and I love that the window side of the panel is also the same color and not black.

These curtains do blackout 80 percent of sunlight. I bought to try to keep out heat. As far as heat is concerned, it does block out enough heat to keep things bearable if it’s 80 degrees outside. But for higher temperatures, you still need an a/c unit running or a swamp cooler. They are thick and hang lovely. Curtains in patterns are beautiful. In pics you can see how much sunlight is blocked out compare to regular curtains.

Beautiful color and texture. Fabric is smooth and silky and does a great job of blackening out the room. Best part is they do not wrinkle easily. I’ve have the greyish white and the greyish green. My only wish is there was a greyish lavender.

Perfect width & length for my bedroom windows. Like the color that will be matching paint when completed. Hangs well, not heavy & material has nice feel. When closed, provides a lot of privacy.

Edit: Second purchase Burnt orange curtains, laundered and pressed. Love the design and tech in these curtains. The media room warmed up in minutes! We LOVE this color it makes the room pop and it feels so much warmer and more inviting. I purchased the NICE TOWN Blackout Window Curtains 80" long for my bonus mama who is COLD ALL THE TIME. The technology in these drapes is nothing short of A-mazing! Note: the color says PURPLE, the hue is more akin to PLUM. Mama is a self described "PURPLE LADY" and giggled with glee when I surprised her with the freshly laundered and pressed drapes. She LOVES the color! When I opened the package there was no odor. They are soft to the touch. They laundered well in cold water. I chose to steam press them. The weight of the fabric is noticeably heavier IN A GOOD WAY. I installed the drapes last night in less than 5 minutes. It was about 1/2 hour before mama's bed time. Her room felt warmer instantly so much so that she commented on it. This morning mama awoke RAVING about how warm and comfy she was, despite the fact that outdoors it was 32 degrees Fahrenheit last night. Right now the sun is shining brightly. Mama is browsing the newspaper while peeking at tv. She has not gotten up once to adjust her new drapes. Mama is impressed and has NO COMPLAINTS! All I can tell you is, I am relieved and elated. So much so, I purchased a set of NICETIWN drapes for our media room and a set for another bedroom. I literally can't wait for them to arrive! If you are undecided about whether to purchase these drapes DO IT! NICETOWN Blackout window curtains GET THE JOB DONE!

Depends on the curtain rod you have, but they are not complete blackout. That being said, they do a good job. You have to iron/steam them when they first arrive but again that is because of the packaging.

I am very happy with my new curtains; the dark grey colour is lovely. Sometimes it looks a greyish-blue, but I have blue in the room and grey naturally takes on surrounding colours depending on your walls and lighting. It's a fun colour brain trick. They're excellent at blocking out the light—not 100%, but I'd say 90–95%. If my curtain rod was up higher, maybe it would block out the light from the top. Regardless, I'm fine with a bit of light as it keeps me from walking into things. The feature I was most surprised by was the thermal aspect. The room gets morning sun and can be a hot box in the summer, so I’m amazed by how much cooler it keeps not only that room, but the entire upstairs floor. They do arrive a touch wrinkled, as fabric does. I steamed mine to get them out, but I am sure the wrinkles would also come out if you pop them in the wash or spray them with water while hanging. Overall, they are a fantastic purchase and well worth the money at a great price.
