Good coat, though understand that it's a true overcoat.
This coat is of high quality and looks nice. It is warm and rain-repellant. The length is as expected (nice and long, like a trench coat should be) and the overall look is nice. The coat is somewhat baggy relative to the size. This is actually a good thing from the perspective of practicality, as it means that it's well-suited to be used as a real overcoat, unlike many "fashion" trench coats. It can easily fit over a suit jacket. That being said, understand that this is not a form-fitting garment.

Handsome and comfortable
This is a great looking and sturdy coat. It is made well. In the rain it kept me dry. In the cold it kept me warm. It keeps its shape and does not wrinkle badly. I can clean it easily with water. The pockets are roomy and functional. I love the feature that it has a detachable collar. It buttons easily. It can be worn with or without the sturdy belt. One of the best coats I have owned.

Very stylish coat
This coat is perfect for those days when the weather is less than tolerable, and it has a zip out liner for the days when it's not quite so cold but still a little chilly. This is a perfect year round coat for dressing up...or maybe even dressing down. A very stylish, well built coat ! Love it! The seller is great to work with and the shipping was super fast

Good coat, but requires many modifications
Looks and feels good, and keeps you dry even in the heaviest downpours. As-is though the buttons are sewn on weakly and without reinforcement buttons behind, the storm flap button is wrong (should be UNDER the storm flap, not on top of), and the belt/sleeve buckles are cheap plastic and will break. But with a little bit of sewing this coat is simply wonderful! The length is just right, the cut provides freedom of movement without sacrificing style, the zip-out liner keeps the wearer warm even when near the freezing mark, and the rich brown color is gorgeous!

Absolutely LOVE London Fog!
What some describe as oversized, is actually how a quality trench coat is supposed to be sized. As it is traditionally worn over a suit jack. Men in my family have worn the London Fog brand ever since my grandparents immigrated from England, and is why this trench coat will continue that tradition, because its quality is impeccable! The size 38R fits my son perfectly, when he is wearing his new 38R blazer. He was skeptical about having the double collar, until he realized it helps the collar to stand up. He loves the look and the feel of this coat. I love the timeless style and know that the quality will make it last for many years.

Quality coard
This may be the highest quality, most handsome garment I have ordered from Amazon. The broadcloth is good weight and quality fabric. The stitching is even and measured. The fabrics on the liner are beautiful. There's one fabric on the top and another on the bottom, as quality trench coats are. There's a one inch tape along the division of fabric.....again a quality touch. The liner has an invisible zipper instead of buttons. I'm a woman, but i ordered the man's coat because there is no woman's equivalent. I need a 36, but ordered a 38 hoping it might fit. It doesn't. The coat is clearly cut to fit over a suit, so there's no need to order up.

Cool style, both retro and contempo
These coats were made to fit over a suit, so they are always larger then you expect. But these are very nice, and have a versatility that goes well for conservative or hip,/ retro or contempo. depending on what it is worn with and how.One thing to note however is that these are no longer made of cotton gabberdine. They are made of a similar weave using polyester. This fabric can be machine washed, and in addition to functioning as a rain coat, also has qualities of a performance fabric.

Perfect over a suit jacket and great over a shirt
This thing looks spiffy, keeps me warm and dry, and shields from the dirt I encounter traveling. It will probably be too warm once summer starts, but it's been wonderful in winter and spring. The fabric sheds water well enough and when it's really cold, I use the liner and stay very warm.Negatives: It does require a hat in order to stay dry in the rain. The belt is hard to buckle so I just tie it in the back. I bit bulky to keep on my lap when in an airplane.
