Compression socks aid, so helpful
Finally, a sock aid to put on compression socks. Works great.

Nice and wide but needs grip strip
For those of us with lymphedema which causes leg swelling, this is a nice, wide product. The only flaw is that the sock slides off of the device with the slightest tugging up. There is no sticky patch at the back to keep the sock on the device longer. Still....it is much more comfortable than the wire device.

Too wide, not flexible
This stocking aid was a disappointment. I have successfully used the smooth sided wide Sammons Preston stocking aid for the past five years.. So I thought I would try this style as it was advertised as being flexible. It is not any more flexible than the other style, which while it does bend, I do not consider "flexible" at all. This style is too wide and the jagged sides prevented me from using it with soft cotton socks, much less with my compression hose.

Will crack eventually, but OK until it does
My feet are size 12W. Can just barely fit by foot in. That's ok because you have to expect stuff like that with 12W feet. However, when you try to use it as instructed, the plastic will eventually crack and become unusable. A beefier polymer is needed.

The Sammons sock aid was great EXCEPT the teeth on it was a little bit too long and it made it hard to "put the sock on it". Otherwise it worked very well. Michael friedberg

Finally something that works with tight compression socks
My husband has a fused ankle so he has very limited mobility in it and it is (and always will be) somewhat swollen. He wears a compression to hep keep the swelling down some. Iโve ordered and returned a few different devices and finally this one works. He can finally out on the sock without assistance from someone. Highly recommend this device for people with limited mobility who needs help getting a compression sock on by themselves.

Perfect Tool for the Elderly
My hubby who needs help with many issues can't put his compression socks on easily. This tool, for the extra-large man, is a perfect tool for him.. He keeps it where he can sit in a chair and put his socks and shoes on without any assistance. An essential tool in our house now!

Poor quality plastic!
This contraption works good but breaks FAR TOO SOON! I bought 3 of these - one after another. The first one broke after 2+ months, so I blamed myself! The second one broke in the same place after I had used it carefully for 2 more months. I still thought I had maybe gotten a couple bad apples so I bought another and also bought a different metal core design sock aid. They arrived quickly - great. I used the metal (heavy wire) version first and it took me 2 tries to get the hang of it - WOW really easy on with the socks!!!! SENT the plastic one back (never used).. Amazon quickly refunded my money and I am happy using the wire sock aid - No more plastic versions for me. I appreciate the return service - but not this poor product.
