Geedel Rotary Cheese Grater Hand Crank, Cheese Shredder Vegetable Slicer

This grater is so easy to use and doesn't hurt my arthritic hand. Grating cheese is no longer a chore, even when doing a whole wedge of parmesan. My hand used to cramp up when using my Zyliss and box graters. (The Zyliss does produce a finer shred, if that's important to you.) Also, I love how it suctions to the kitchen counter, so it doesn't move around, and it's easy to clean. I haven't tried it on anything but cheese, but expect that it will perform just as well on veggies. Very happy with this purchase.

This is the thing you didn’t know you needed! Turns a block of cheese into a bag of shredded cheese, with minimal effort and easy clean up. I have limited counter space, so prepping everything ahead of time is necessary. This grater handles the work that my box grater couldn’t.

This is definitely a game changer over the box style shredder. I've been using the Geedel mainly on both hard and soft cheeses (Parmesan, Romano, Gouda, Cheddar, Havarti, Mozarella and Asiago), and chocolate blocks (Callebaut dark & white) and it does an exceptional job! It’s what I bought this for! For vegetables, the handle and bIades performed well on the tougher dense vegetables like potatoes, carrots, zucchini, squash etc. just not my fav gadget to use for them. When it comes to the water based veggies (cucumber, tomatoes, onions, eggplant etc) I found it to be hit & miss where my cuts were not consistent but a mix of uniform and ragged slices leaving me to use the mandolin for those. It’s probably user error, and it does depend on what you are making on how particular you are. On the other hand I bought it specifically for cheese & chocolate and as a multi functional 3-in-1 grater it does an exceptional job on both. It’s easy to assemble and take apart. The drum, the transparent barrel unit for the drum, and the turning handle all “click” into place and have quick release buttons making it easy to dismantle the parts to clean and store. I was originally dubious about the suction base, but have been really impressed with its almost gorilla strength adhesion to my countertop (it’s a plain old formica top by the way). For those of you with hand mobility issues or joint pain, you definitely want this over the box style. The hand crank is comfortable and extremely easy to turn if you suffer from arthritis and/or carpal tunnel. It’s definitely less stress and pressure on the joints should you have a large amount to process. The razor sharp blades are designed to plow through cheese like butter, and it does however, with some of the softer cheeses you may have a bit or two left over that doesn’t make it through the grater but sticks to the drum and needs to be removed manually. This is what my dog calls his “cheese tax” for allowing me to use his kitchen. Not only is it fast and efficient, but you don’t have to worry about nicking your fingers or knuckles on the drums when shredding! Best of all, you get a greater yield per rotation since it easy to crank with little effort. As for cleaning, all parts separate out for easy hand-washing or top shelf dish washer. Over all, The quality of your shavings/shreds are consistently uniform with the three (3) drums when using cheese and some vegetables. It’s a well built unit with an easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to store design. The blades are stainless steel so are constructed to last and not rust. The unit itself is a huge time saver for prep work and clean up, which translates to less time prepping and more time entertaining! It is also analog so will work without power. Best of all, shredding your own blocks is healthier & fresher (less processed = no additional additives), it melts better, it stores better space wise, and it has a lower price point. Anything that saves me time and can grate a 2lb block in mere seconds is a definite winner! 5 Stars!

I always used my Cuisinart to grate cheese but stopped because of the effort it took to get it set up. Then cleaning the discs was always a chore. This grater works great! It's fairly intuitive setting it up. The suction is strong enough to keep it on the counter while in use. The crank is a little finicky, but in the end I figured out how to attach it and have it not fall off. The grating goes quickly and BOOM grated cheese! The grater is well worth the $22 that I spent when I ordered this. It comes in a variety of colors - something for everyone!

Super easy to setup, use, and clean! My kid loves to use grate cheese now! It's no longer a chore... The suction cup makes the grater very stiff and secure handling even for kids!

Stop grating cheese by hand like a caveman. This rotary crank actually works. It shreds a block of cheddar in seconds without taking skin off your knuckles, and the suction base holds it firmly to the counter so it doesn't slide around. Cleanup is straightforward. Buy it.

Holy guacamole Batman! This little bugger is EXCELLENT! I just did a HARD..dried up chunk of parmesan that had been in the fridge a little too long… In less time than it would take to get out my food processor, plug it in and set it up this bugger had it finally graded grated and fluffy. 30 seconds tops. I then tried the coarse grating and it pushed through the remaining chunk easily! If it can grate that almost brick-hard cheese I don’t see it struggling with anything! Wooo hooo, carrot cake here we come! I hated- as I’m getting older- - dragging my food processor out for quick jobs, and often just hand grate instead. (And it takes up the whole sink or dishwasher top to clean it too😢} This lightweight quick option will get plenty of use in my kitchen! Popped it in the dishwasher an it’s done. Love the bright colors and simple instructions.!I Only wish the included a bag or storage box for it.. EXTREMELY good price and value for the money. Go for it!

Very functional and sturdy! The 5 steel blades cover all the bases in terms of slicing and dicing veggies, berries and cheese. The base sticks firnly to the counter. The only real issue is the cheap plastic where all the grinding takes place. It scratches easily using a spoonge so now it's now clear any more. 😢 Everything is easy to clean and assemble!!

Très bon produit. Solide, il permet de rapper plusieurs carottes en même temps. Pour les choux, il ne fonctionne pas.

Llegó en buen estado. Es muy útil y ahorra mucho timepo, las cuchillas están afiladas y todo el sistema funciona correctamente.
